Don't used this network,I want to gave them 0*,unfortunately I have to gave them 1*.
No Internet from last 6 days, its total loss.
Call them many times, finally they send a engineer today morning,he came and checked. Can't fixed.
Now I have to call them again and describe full story again, then they send another specialist(👎).
Don't know how long its take.
Work from home,so without Internet its quite impossible.
I get this connection 1 month ago,and its horrible service, slow speed ,no Internet, and many things happened.

Darren and Paul were fantastic. They were knowledgeable, skilled, patient, and brought a great sense of humour, which made the whole installation process much easier. They clearly know their field inside out and even came up with a smart solution on the spot when my front door had a red scan issue — they quickly identified a better area on a different wall. They also took the time to explain the process in detail, even more clearly than my provider did. Truly top-notch and good assets to any provider!

We are both so disappointed and frustrated. 4th Utility were initially dishonest or wholly incompetent and then had no willingness to solve the problem in a reasonable timeframe - truly appalling.

Due to a house move on Sat 16 Aug and both requiring internet for our jobs on Mon 18 Aug, we started searching for an internet provider about 2 weeks before the move.

4th Utility promised we'd have internet up and running on the 16 Aug and explained all we would need to do is plug in the router they would send to us 2 days in advance. They couldn’t send the router to our current address but explained we could divert it to a local shop.

This turned out not to be true as there was no option to do this from Evri, but this wasn’t necessarily a problem. Evri just left our parcel by a wheely bin on 13 Aug so we’d just have to hope that it was still there undamaged on the 16 Aug.

However, we then get a text on 14 Aug stating an engineer is coming on the 15 Aug, which we initially think might be an automated text given we just need to plug it in and 4th Utility know we aren’t moving until the 16 Aug. On the morning of 15 Aug, we then get another text saying an engineer will be with us between 1pm and 6pm, so we then call 4th Utility to see what’s going on given we haven’t moved yet and don’t need an installer.
4th Utiliyt then tell us that we must have an installer or the internet will not work, and if we can’t make the appointment the day before we move in, we must wait until the engineer has written notes before we can even book in another appointment!

We say please can we book someone in then for the next available date and they say this is impossible and have a complete “Computer Says No” system, so the very best they can do is us trying to call them tomorrow or on Monday, but the earliest we can book engineer will be a least 2 weeks.

I ask if there is anything they can do as this is going to cause us a real problem over the next 2 weeks as we will both each have 3-4 hour round trip commutes back to London and the associated costs every day until this is resolved, but 4th Utility have zero interest and just say we can cancel with them, which we obviously did.

UPDATE: called Virgin this afternoon (15 Aug) and they will send out self set up router today on next day delivery (16 Aug delivery, latest 18 Aug). No nonsense and £68 cheaper than 4th Utility for a 2 year contract with the same speed.

After a thorough evaluation of the four utility services under consideration, it is evident that performance across all areas falls significantly short of acceptable standards. The internet provider fails to deliver the advertised speed and experiences frequent disconnections. Customer service is slow to respond, offering generic troubleshooting advice rather than addressing the root cause of technical issues. This results in ongoing frustration and a diminished user experience. These utilities display a troubling pattern of operational mismanagement, insufficient communication, and disregard for customer welfare. The deficiencies are not isolated incidents but systemic problems requiring immediate structural reforms. Without swift and decisive action, these providers risk further loss of credibility, increased regulatory scrutiny, and sustained public dissatisfaction.

Really unhappy with the service provided by this company. They will do anything to get a sale even if it means lying to you. We purchased Wi-Fi from 4th utility with the agreed 24 month contract and were told on the phone we’d also get a free booster having discussed with the sales rep that we had a better offer elsewhere so they agreed we’d also get a free booster in the package all of this evidenced in our voice call. When the Engineer came to our property to set up the Wi-Fi we were told to ring the company for the booster. Having rung the company for the booster were told 4th utility don’t provide boosters. The sales rep obviously lied. Having them speak to a manager about the situation they said they listened to the 25 minute call and GASLIGHTED me saying he never heard of any booster talk on the phone call and then thinking that I was stupid said booster meant something else. 4th utility should not be lying and gaslighting people rather they should rectify the sitstuom. I was told over a week ago now that someone will call back to sort this situation out but no form of contact has been made. As soon as my contract ends I won’t be using this untruthful company again. I might even have to consider contacting someone for legal advice since I have been falsely given a package which I have not received. Even if it was a mistake by 4th utility they should have done something to rectify the situation.

Easy process, cannot fault this service, from start to finish, kept me up to date as to when the engineer would arrive, arrived as scheduled, all set up smoothly, cleared the remnants of the debris in the room.
I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.
Internet speed far superior than my previous provider and much cheaper.
Thank you

Lee and Brogan were fantastic. Professional, thoughtful and helpful throughout the entire process. It was not an easy installation but they did it all quickly, sensitively and to an incredibly high standard. Plus they were clean, tidy and friendly. Cannot recommend enough. The internet was working within minutes and is 3x faster than my previous supplier for £5 less a month.

So, difficult one to write. I've been a customer of 4th Utility for a grand total of 5 days (3 working days) and I'm already cut off, with my broadband suspended, due to non-payment.

Clearly on investigation they don't have a card stored on the system (I can see that from the customer portal). However I do have a confirmation of DD set up email from two weeks prior to installation date. So clearly someone messed up.

However what's really shocking, is that there was no warning of suspension of Service. Nothing. No way for me to correct the mistake on their portal in advance and put in payment details, before they cut me off. I've only been with them a few days and as a new customer, this is a extremely bad first impression.

Technically the engineering side of it has been excellent, with great installation from City Fibre and the speeds are as promised. Clearly the failing is from how 4th Utility is managed and the processes they have in place, which seem geared to punish it's Customers.

I hope they can change their processes to be less punitive for their Customers.
