We decided to use 7 energy as the solar panels on some properties on our development had been installed by Martin and team so recommendation came from our site office. When Martin came round he gave us so much confidence in his ability and knowledge, he seemed like the best company to use. After a few early concerns the installation went very well. Early November the panels where on and Scaffolding down. We then waited 5 weeks for the electrician to connect us plus a few more days for the hubs to be connected. Then Bingo we had our own energy source..
Then the wait began. We still owed Martin the final paymen. But we had not received the certificates to enable us to claim surplus exported energy from the grid. It has been almost 3 month's since we started producing energy and still no certificates and hence we cannot make the final payment. This is why I have give 7Energy 2 star's I have tried for some time to contact Martin but despite promises nothing has happened.
Well. Its almost been a year since the panels have been installed, all our earlier frustration has gone and we are delighted with the savings we are making. Martin eventually came up trumps and we can now safely say the review we originally gave has now updated to 4 star's as I don't believe anyone could achieve 5 star's unless they are God.

It is with some sadness that I feel compelled to edit this review. There has been an ongoing problem with a part of the solar system that Martin and his team installed for over a year now, so what was previously a 5 star review is reduced to a 2 star. Despite many requests for help with the matter and maintaining a polite and courteous manner throughout, 7Energy have utterly failed to offer any meaningful after sales service at all. I am now resigned to the fact there will be no help from 7Energy to remedy the fault on their installation and I am left to my own devices to have it repaired. It would now be my advice that if you want any kind of renewable energy in the Shrewsbury area, look elsewhere. 7Energy will leave you high and dry if you need help after installation.

*ORIGINAL* If you're looking for a great value and reliable supplier for solar pv panels then Martin and his team really need to be considered. Martin is very knowledgeable, willing to answer any questions you may have and lead you through the process from inception to completion. I can't speak highly enough of 7 Energy and would happily recommend them.

A professional install by qualified, competent & knowledgeable team that includes helpful support from office based staff. I am really pleased I chose 7 Energy to install a biomass boiler – it’s a big investment, but Martin put us at ease from the outset.

His team are polite and unobtrusive and tidy up so you barely notice they have been in your home.

Not sure if the guys are still around as I’ve just been ghosted for over 6 months. I had a quote and asked to change the panels from a model quoted to the newer REC panels which produced higher yield (and would be more expensive) I followed up with Peter and Martin multiple times from Sep, Oct and Feb and never got any response. Seems like bullet dodged with other reviewers feedback.

Great install back in 2020 in knighton shropshire. I need some information regarding suitability for abattery installation but cannot get hold of them. Won't reply to emails or answer phone calls. Would not recommend. Happy to talk about this review if they contact me but I think it unlikely that they will be bothered.

7 Energy were amazing troubleshooters and problem solvers in getting our 10+ year old pellet boiler to work again. And they did it with grace, even helping on the day with moving furniture that was happening in the background! Would highly recommend.

Very knowledgeable about solar PV and home batteries. Also very competitive. However it's a small company with what appears to be a single installer. Therefore expect multiple delays in getting the initial installation done and post-install customer care is non-existent.
