Excellent service from all staff at the recycling centre. Absolutely disgusting that some people are allowed to post such inaccurate reviews. Firstly I was present during the altercation with a certain man who was only asked to show his permit. He then turned aggressive. This is when a staff member stepped in to ask his daughter if she was OK who was hysterical at her fathers actions. The lady there is always smiling and helpful nothingis ever too much trouble. Please ignore the bad reviews.

Site is clean and tidy, but jobs worth won't help. Sitting around watching pensioners and disabled struggle. "We are not allowed to help, H&S....It should be possible to atleast buy a permit for help or a charity box

We've been using the tip a lot recently clearing out a house. Staff are friendly and will help and don't always need asking to do so. Lesley who always seems to have a smile and a friendly word.

Bunch of arrogant bullies who gang up on some of their customers, not recommend! Seems the council will put any type of low life in public sector positions.Be aware if you have children with you to keep your car doors closed because the woman that works there could try and approach them to influence them while your back is turned. I so hope this is seen because i would just love for the police to be involved. As for the bully managers side kick, thinks he's some sort of bouncer. Shame they couldn't bounce a ball between them.

Good on a quiet day, clean and tidy.

However! Only one lane for driving around the site, and you must drive around in a loop to escape. To unload you must move over and parallel park. So if you want to park somewhere, don't just sit in the traffic lane waiting for your desired spot to be free - park somewhere else and use your legs! If you stop and wait in the traffic lane, you are causing a traffic jam and holding up everyone else who is trying to leave. The staff should enforce this to reduce hold ups.

I was here just after 9am and again at 11.30, it's best to get there early on a Sunday as Sunday afternoons can get very busy
