A huge store with plenty of stock. We went for gardening products. The prices are a little steep but they did have a sale on some of the garden furniture.
Parking is plentiful, free and right outside the entrance. The staff were friendly and helpful. The checkouts are all self service but a member of staff is on hand to help if needed. We've visited a couple of times over the past month and always found what we've been looking for.

I went here to purchase flooring, found what i wanted, price was reasonable a bit more than wicks but more convenient to my location. Loaded my trolley 9 packs laminate, 2 underlay and trim.
Got to the checkout, and it's all self service, 2 members of staff standing there with 4 self service checkouts, i nearly abandoned my trolley and left.
Have at least 1 checkout open with a staff member, don't take away all our choice.

Nice! Great plants to purchase, found myself a nice Venus Fly Trap. There was a lovely woman there (I do not know her name) and she told me everything I needed to know about her (honestly if I knew who you were I would have mentioned). All staff are very positive and never too busy due to the spacious design. Variety of items to purchase.

Ben very kindly (and patiently!) cut a load of skirting boards to size for me. This took quite some time and my measurements were very specific however he was more than happy to help and I’m so so very grateful for his kind assistance and fantastic customer service!

Do not waste your time ordering online from this store. I have paid for orders twice now only to have them cancelled by the store a few hours later with no explanation or apology. Planning jobs and sourcing DIY stuff is difficult enough without being let down by unreliable stores. There are lots of online companies out there who offer a real service. I will not bother with B&Q again. Appalling service!

I sometimes come here to add to my cacti/succulent collection and for general gardening buys.

Quite annoyed yesterday evening though, to be informed that the store does NOT close at 9pm as Google suggests - rather 8pm!! Staff say that the wrong closing time has been on Google for 8 years now and although they've explained that the store closes at 8pm instead, they won't amend the opening hours...
