I cannot recommend Westexe Solutions Limited highly enough! From start to finish, the communication was excellent. After being told by numerous energy suppliers that an EV charger installation was not achievable due to the complicated layout of my house, I contacted Steve for advice. He came to assess the property, and just three days later, I had a fully installed EV charger.

The installation wasn’t straightforward—it required a 25-metre run of cable from the front of the house, under pathways, through walls, and along fences to reach the rear of the garden. Despite this, the workmanship was second to none. Matt, who carried out the install, was professional, meticulous, and went above and beyond to hide the cable around a pre-built BBQ area, leaving everything neat and tidy.

CALL-OUT IS £75 +VAT WHICH = £90
AND THEY HAVE A MOBILE PHONE NUMBER BUT THEY COME UP FIRST ON GOOGLE AS THEY ARE A SPONSORED AD! THEY ARE IN EXETER NOT HONITON WHERE I LIVE. I LET GOOGLE USE MY LOCATION BUT IT PUTS SPONSORED AD’S FIRST.

RE THE REPLY FROM THE OWNER AS I MENTIONED BEFORE THE FAULT WAS A SMALL GREY SWITCH HALFWAY ACROSS THE FUSE BOARD/JUNCTION BOX.
IF THEY HAD TRIED TO HELP ME THEN THIS WOULD OF BEEN EASILY EXPLAINED OVER THE TELEPHONE AND I WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY GRATEFUL.
NO ATTEMPT TO FIX THE PROBLEM OVER THE PHONE ACTUALLY TOOK PLACE UNLESS I SUFFERED A MENTAL BLACKOUT.
SO IF THEY OFFER FREE ADVICE BEFORE AN ELECTRICIAN IS SENT ASK THEM IF THEY HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS OVER THE TELEPHONE RE YOUR FAULT AND SEE HOW FORTHCOMING THEY ARE.

I’ve rang this company as our electric at home had not come back on even though master switch was up and all the trips; but when The electrician turned up what I thought was wrong. There is a small grey switch in the middle of your fuse board that cares for half of your trip switches. So all the electrician had to do was flick this up. He also tested the socket where a double adapter had been fitted slightly sticking out by the council. That was all the work he did and it took him less than 20 minutes. He was very keen to go as the council man who fitted the alarm and used an adapter turned up whilst he was there which cased a slightly heated discussion. I let him go due to this. Even though I could’ve got him to fit a bathroom light in the remaining time.
Very surprised to receive a bill for £90 as I was quoted £75, there was no mention of VAT. I have sent a cheque begrudgingly for £90. I would definitely not recommend this company.
