Quick run around to get bits we needed for dinner and breakfast, very happy with all the choices, except ran out of limes. Exceptionally lovely and cheery staff, will absolutely be visiting again. And loved the Geese outside the shop too

It’s a coop on the high street
As you would expect, food, drinks available to take away. Side street next to the coop for a sneaky 5 min stop.
On main road so walking is probably best

Coop, situated on Hebden Bridge's manic Market Street complements a town that is already well served with a number of niche grocers. Pick your time carefully to get on or off Market St, but the store has a car park that seems to cope with demand and the store is stocked with more variety than the label "convenience store" implies. Coop is "the Coop" - nothing more, nothing less, and some of the store's own label lines outpace the bigger competitors. It is a case of "it'll do", for sure.

No grocery store/supermarket across five European countries I've lived in has managed to capture 'extortionate' as accutely as this Circus does.
The person who, in another review, cites Excellent prices is probably suffering from lead poisoning.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Charlotte at the Hebden Bridge store. I have a medical condition which means I need the toilet urgently and unexpectedly. After finding all public toilets closed I went to the Co-op to see if they had toilets, which they didn't. By this point I was almost in tears. I explained my predicament to Charlotte working on the customer service desk and without any hesitation or fuss, she discreetly took me to the staff toilets. It might seem like a small thing but I can't tell you how grateful I am for this act of kindness. Wonderful service, thank you Charlotte!

Has everything you need and wouldn't trade it for any other main supermarket in Hebden Bridge. Sometimes quite pricey but good for quick basics like bread and milk.
Would recommend but not for weekly shops just for bits and bats that you didn't order with your weekly shop!
