I am currently redesigning workshops, studios and living spaces which constitute the interior of a large Victorian workhouse. This also necessitates exterior changes, a glass access corridor and atrium. A very complex project. Beata has been involved from the beginning and has been invaluable as this is a conservation area and it is essential to retain the feel and integrity of the building she has been integral to the the initial stages, obtaining planning permission, structural calculations and dealing with the local council.
I think I chose the best when I chose Isle Architects, she has shown such enthusiasm for the project and is great to have around. I am feeling confident and excited in the future of the project with Beata in control.

Beata has been closely involved with Fisher House, the home of the Cambridge University Catholic Chaplaincy, for over a decade. She was involved in the refurbishment and redesign of the 1960s Chapel, various feasibility studies and ongoing repairs for our Grade II listed building, and the preparation of quinquennial repair and maintenance schedules.

Most recently, Beata helped Fisher House with a project to make sound a sagging roof in our timber framed building and to renovate the interior of the attic rooms at the same time. She helped us navigate all the various stages of the project, from investigating the problem, identifying the remedial works, obtaining permissions, tendering for a contractor and overseeing the works. At all times she kept us fully informed about what was going on, and was always quick to respond to any questions. The process went smoothly and we are very happy with the results.
