I had my installation begin in May 2023, this started off badly when I took annual leave from work so that I was available for the energy installer to begin work.

They failed to arrive, even after they had sent all the installation equipment via courier , and I had to unload and store this equipment with out help.

The company finally turned up a couple of weeks later to begin the install, however they were a day late, again an annual leave day wasted.

The install took a week, which was good however the standard was not as good as it should be.

Performance was bad and the house was damaged in several places.

Secondary installs of insulation took months to come and be fitted and was fitted by tradesman that were not skilled to perform.the works.

They sent roofers to install the insulation board and adjust the doors by trimming the bottoms.
There was expanding foam and filler everywhere on my carpet and bedding.

Unfortunately due to their incompetence they trimmed the tops and bottoms of my bedroom doors so now they do not fit or close or fit in the door frames. They look like saloon doors for a western saloon, so bad that I can fit my hand thru the gap top and bottom.

I have requested these to be fixed, which has been met with continual resistance.

I had an installer turn up in early Jan with out appt to fit radiator thermostats to my radiators. The installer gave up and didn't fit them, and only left me with half the equipment.

He drilled a hole in my wall to mark where an extractor would be fitted which to this day has not been. Just a damaged wall with a hole in.

The solar panel installers damage tiles causing leaks in my house and have refused to come and repair my tiles.

I have been constantly patient and forthcoming with them and I have been totally taken a ride for.

They refuse to call me back, answer emails or return calls.

I have asked to speak to managers and directors and they have simply ignored me.

They have finally agreed to just pay me 820 pound into my bank, to pay for independent trades to fix the mistakes they have made. Which to this day has not happened. They continually tell me it's with accounts and has been agreed to be paid on Friday.. this has lasted months .

Still every Friday comes along and no works and no payment.

Since Nov 23 I have been promised these works be completed or a payment made.

This has now been raised with both EON and the energy ombudsman. Hoping to get a settlement that way.

When they could have just finished works started or damaged caused, or just paid me the £820 to get it all fixed my self I will no doubt, with all the evidence I have get a better result.

I'm desperate to get this work completed so I do not have to Deal with these people again.

So if you are thinking about having panels fitted, I emplore you with the upmost urgency to use anyone else except these. They will absolutely F@*k you about with no remorse or regret.

Do not hire them or you will regret it!

Avoid this company at all costs! Left piles of plaster board on our yard, promises after promises to remove it, 8 months on and it’s still there. I was also told carpets would be put back, they promised to do it, but now ignoring me regarding both and looks like we will have to pay for both to be sorted. Internal wall installation was poorly done, on top of a rubbish job the workers left the house in a terrible state. Solar panel installers cut through water pipes in several places and instead of letting us know and being honest they just covered it back over.

They promised us they would repair all damage made by the workers but stopped all contact with us.

Harlech electrical services have recently completed installing an air flow heat system and solar panels to my property. I have two words to describe the entire process and that is Utterly Amazing. The guys who fitted the system were efficient, professional and very polite. Jemma and Paul who arranged the work were always at hand to deal with any concerns which they did immediately. I can only thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You’ve made my home warm and cost effective. Thank You 😁👍🙏
