We live in the neighbouring village and stayed here for the night as well as dinner down at the sister business, the three tuns.

The b&b is absolutely beautiful and such a relaxed and cosy vibe. You can chill in the reception rooms by the fire, there is board games and chess you can play and a decanter of port to help your self to. The bath in the room is gorgeous too!

Breakfast was delicious with a cooked breakfast menu of Eggs Beni, Royale & Florentine, smoked salmon and eggs, a full English and French toast to choose from. There was also a continental buffet, as well as a pot of coffee/tea for the table and unlimited orange and apple juice or water.

The owners were nothing short of helpful and kind, we will 100% be back!

One thing to note as a visitor is due to how old the buildings and walls aren’t the most sound proof and I could hear the room next door but I understand this can’t be help and I still managed to sleep well regardless.

One small feedback I have is when using the bath at night it would help nice to be able to have dimmer lights on in the bathroom to add to the relaxation but that’s just a small feedback for such a wonderful b&b!

We recently stayed here for our friends wedding. Absolutely beautiful. The house was gorgeous, food was delicious and the service was brilliant. Truly made us feel at home and nothing was an issue for them to sort out. Really grateful for such a wonderful stay. Will definitely be back and will be recommending to all looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

My husband and I booked exclusive weekend hire of the Green Farmhouse for our wedding at the BarnYard on Saturday for ourselves and the immediate wedding party. I cannot speak highly enough of the accommodation - the rustic charm and beautiful period features are only matched by the exceptional level of service provided by Carol and Chris. No ask was too much, their food was incredible, and their attentiveness to myself and the bridal party on the morning of our wedding made the whole experience a joy. Carol evening waited up for my husband and I to return from our wedding celebrations to bring us tea and some midnight snacks before bed - at every turn their service was absolutely above and beyond! We stayed at The Green Farmhouse on our wedding night recently and it was the most wonderful and relaxing stay.
Carol is such a diligent, thoughtful and caring hostess; we were arriving close to midnight and she stayed up to greet us rather than just having us let ourselves in. The farmhouse is absolutely beautiful and our room was wonderful. The breakfast menu was plentiful, food was delicious and service was incredible. We will definitely be going back!

We've just stayed at the Green Farmhouse and had a lovely weekend. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and has lots of history. We stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby. The host, Carol, was so kind and welcoming and we felt at home right away. The B&B is beautiful with so many character features, and is luxurious, too. The room was cosy, beautiful and clean, and we had everything we needed. Finally, the breakfast was delicious and generous - it had everything you could've wanted (cooked with continental options on offer). One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in a beautiful B&B, whether it's for a wedding, to visit friends and family, for local walks, or just for a treat!
