Would give 0 stars if I could! My friend moved into her property last Wednesday, so she has been there a week today, she has a young infant & has been left to stay in the freezing cold property with no heating or hot water, IN WINTER!! BSW were supposed to come out the day after she moved in to do a gas safety check and turn everything on for her, they told her to stay and wait for them to turn up between 1-5pm, my friend waited all day and no one turned up, she called up again and she was told to wait up untill 12am and someone will come between 5pm - 12am, so she waited up untill 12am and absolutely no one turned up. Waiting up till 12am for someone to do a gas check & turn everything on is ridiculous in itself! She phoned them up when no one turned up all for them to say the exact same thing day after day, how she will have to wait indoors all day the next day etc… She has been sat indoors in a freezing property with her young child waiting for SIX days for these workers to turn up and no one has turned up & they keep telling her the same thing, to wait for the next day! She even phoned them up to make them aware that her child is prone to getting unwell in cold conditions & the call handler was extremely rude saying “you’re not the only person without heating or hot water”. Absolutely disgusting & inconsiderate!! This company is honestly appalling and the way they treat their customers is vile! Avoid at all costs!

The technician who I had to unfortunately deal with was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I really regret not reading all the reviews before, which would have saved me the hassle. Their quality of work was poor at best - they just didn’t care whatsoever and that was blatantly obvious. I’d recommend avoiding at all cost.

Top notch service when my thermostat packed up on a Sunday. I couldn't work out how to get cover off, rang for advice, and an engineer popped round and sorted it for me within 15 mins. Toasty warm again in no time!

Spent £12,000 on a dual boiler, dual tank pressurised system 2 years ago, £3K more than another quote because it was "sold" as a greener system.

A couple of minor issues installing it but they fixed these pretty quickly. The main issue we had was the system was badly specified and they simply could not get it to work properly. The specifier left them, (he was a awful) and we had a succession of people come round over 2 years to try to put the system right,.none of which we were charged for to their credit.

This week, 2 years on, we now have a system that seems to work after an unnecessary blender valve was removed and the right size pipes installed.

All we have to do now is re set all our thermostatic valves around the 5 bathroom house (ourselves) and replace a ceiling ruined by a leak in pipework.

To their credit they never refused to come out when we called them, to their discredit we never had contact from a director apart from the once time we really had to pressure them into doing something, and had to suffer 2 years of cold or boiling hot showers.

I am sure they had staff problems and hopefully have got over this, the last engineer here actually saw the issues in 10 minutes and implemented a fix but 2 years and 10+ visits after the installation is a bit much when you pay over the odds for a system that basically was cheaper for them to purchase the parts for than what was originally quoted and then simply was beyond the skill of the the then installers to implement.

So my opinion, buy a simple system, and make sure it works before paying the balance. Would I use them again, probably not, but they do say, better the devil you know, and we know them quite well now, Hi Roddy, everyone..

After 21/2 years my hot water tank problem is fixed. Earlier attention to detail by BSW would have solved things quicker I feel.

I have just had an electrician out to confirm my suspicions - BSW used the incorrect cable when installing my shower, this means too much current went through the cable and isolater and caused both to burn out in a small fire!

Luckily no one was hurt on this occasion but this company are shameless and should seriously be investigated by regulators!

I just had a kitchen and bathroom installed and I'm really very happy with the work carried out. The workmen /woman were very polite and tidy and I felt very comfortable with leaving them in my home.
