Excellent installation of our electric vehicle (EV) home charge point. A complicated installation (where the charge point needed to be on the other side of the house to the consumer unit) which the likes of PodPoint and Octopus refused to undertake. ACS produced a really neat result - exactly where I wanted it placed. If you're in the market for an EV charge point I can recommend them: don't go to one of the big equipment manufacturers or energy suppliers - get ACS to do a proper survey, come up with options and do the work.

FANTASTIC New LED replacements for 25 year old modular recessed 1200 x 600 fluorescent light fittings x7. Done in a day. Polite, clean, professional and very easy to deal with. No hard sell, just the requested facts and choices. Great job.

Ledlite LED Panel Light 70w - Daylight White - Inc Driver. I chose this top spec from a list of 3, this being the last choice. They produce a glare-free bright light which is an elegant, modern ultra flat design. Love them, making my store bright in all areas - no longer dark areas. More visibilty looking in from outside too. Clean, fresh and bright.

I contacted Tony on the 28th Nov 24 about a hot tub with an electrical issue- he told me his price for coming out to do an investigation was £80 per hour and that two electricians would come and investigate the issue/s fully. He went on to say that he had been in business for a long time and experience had taught him that the first problem found was not always the only problem and between him and is colleague they would diagnose all faults.
Tony found one fault immediately (he came alone- no second electrician) fixed it, took him one hour and 30 mins (charged me £192) for just wiring up an isolator switch. Tony has an issue with his one hand, looks like carpal tunnel or something, his fingers on the one hand looked locked in place, I only mention his because doing fine wiring work must be a problem- he is very slow- that said he fixed the isolator, in one and a half hours…
Despite me mentioning to him, firstly in a text (before he came) and then again verbally on the day of the repair (which was yesterday, the 31st Nov) that historically there had been an issue with the power breaker switch, he didn’t do any further investigations, didn’t even look at the power breaker. He told me that the issue was the isolator and it had been solved and there was no reason to look any further, even though he charged me for 2 hrs and despite my mentioning my concern about the power breaker switch, plus he had another 30mins (which he was charging me for anyway)- he chose to leave doing nothing more.
The following day the breaker switch was not working (no power showing) and the tub had stopped working. So, I text Tony to ask him to come out to take a look- no reply, so after a couple of hours I then phoned him from my landline and he picked up, he said he had fixed the issue and all was well when he left. I reminded him about the promise of 2 electricians and the thorough investigation of the whole hot tub that he had promised and he got angry, said my electrical equipment was rubbish and old (it’s the same age as my hot tub- 4 years old), he then put the phone down on me.
Unprofessional, slow, rude, talks the talk but in reality, does the minimum, no pride in his work, no care for his customers- or at least this customer.
