Would not give this company 1 star. Had insulation work done back in May. The job hasn’t been finished. They’ve left me with work half done. Appalling communications. Taking weeks to get any answer. Extremely rude and robotic call centre staff. Been waiting for 9 days for a supposed recorded delivery letter from them. When asking for tracking number they won’t give to me. MP and Ofgem now in the loop. The workmen are brilliant, their managers and office staff diabolical.
Do Not Touch if your life depended on it. I really hope another low income vulnerable family do not get treated like this

If you are looking to apply for a home improvement grant, check these are not the people doing it for you.

I applied through eon, and 3 months in nothing much had happened and eon knew nothing about it.

Turns out it was these lot looking after it, and after applying in September, having an assessment carried out 2 weeks later, come January after chasing them 4-5 times to be told something was happening I eventually receive an email saying the submission was too late for the council (who’s closing day was mid January, 3 months after!).

I’m sure they may do some things well, but this is not one of them.

Would give 0 stars if possible as now we will need to live in a house with insufficient heating and poorly ventilated windows due to their negligence to do anything in any kind of reasonable timescale.

As a Chartered Surveyor I would not recommend the use of this company , my wife had a boiler replacement carried out under the gov scheme for the disabled , still waiting for completion of the interface between the Hive controls and the Boiler from installation on the 4th Nov last year .Can only operate boiler manually with no control over TRV’s . Very poor contract management , I question as to how they have secured this contract and as to who is monitoring on behalf of the Government . In the process of preparing a report to go to the parties involved

The work actually carried out was done to a good standard I cant fault the teams they sent out. However They wouldn't put pipes into the stud wall, I was promised it would all be capped off with plastic something they never bothered to do so I was left with ugly pipes on all my downstairs walls. They told me on two occasions someone was coming to do it who never showed up.

0800 Repair were contacted regarding a problem with a TRV. This resulted in a visit from Gary. The TVR had been giving problems for some time without a permanent solution. Gary immediately identified the problem and on the spot ordered the required replacement part and arranged to call back the following day. He was as good as his word and swiftly fitted the replacement part. No more problems!
Not only were Gary's skills obvious but he took the trouble to explain the issues involved giving me the chance to ask any questions. A first class service.

My washer broke over xmas, was still under warranty with howdens, they sent an engineer who came with the wrong parts , ripped my kitchen floor chipped my under worktop cupboard , came back again with wrong part, another engineer came with wrong part, had to ring my local branch of howdens and they sent a local engineer to repair it ( came with right part ) all good but now im trying to get the damage repaired by 0800 repair but getting nowhere gonna have to sue im afraid…. Avoid this company at all costs.

Been with them for over 2 years, they've been brilliant. Had a leaky radiator, I'll ring them and get them to fix it since it's what I pay for. Well over a month later, 4 engineer trips out to my house I have a single convector radiator when my old one was a double, it leaks because the engineer that fitted it re-used parts from old radiator including the brass olive. Get told new radiator will be fitted in 2 weeks time between 8 and 12. 11:53am I get a phone call from them saying they aren't coming out as the radiator isn't in stock yet, 2 weeks to get a radiator Seriously!!! So they've left it and I've cancelled my contract. Oh and I'm disabled. disgraceful service. Do not use

Terrible company. Had 3 different men come out saying I would qualify for a new boiler. I asked the 3rd guy when it would be fitted. He said someone would confirm a date in 2 weeks. Nothing happened, and during this time my boiler had broken down. I had been told that if my boiler broke down I would be pushed up the list as being urgent. - this did not happen. Then when I rang up I was told that another guy was coming out to assess the property for insulation work, which was going to mean serious wall work on every wall in 5 rooms. Really!!!! Are they for real or a scam company? It would result in removing all the coving and redecorating 5 rooms after much upheaval This was not mentioned at all by the first 3 guys who just told me it would only be a new boiler. How misleading is this company? Very upset and would advise everyone to avoid this company.
