We went to try some folding scooter's and the sales woman took a lightweight scooter to bit's so I could see if I could lift it. When I said it was too heavy she ''suggested me going to a gym''...I explained that I had screws in my back and in my leg she then said ''maybe not then'' I asked about a hoist and she said that I would need a remote collapsible scooter with hoist (which is what I was enquiring about) and I would need to change the car. I really hope that the young new starter, who was lovely, isn't taught how to judge people by this sales woman as I came out of this place feeling like my life wasn't worth living when all I wanted was to gain a bit more independence. Won't ever return to this place to be judged by the likes of her. They potentially lost £2,500 sales by her attitude. Not happy at all.

Our first visit to North East Mobility was on the 28 of June.

This is a company that listens to what your requirements are. Your satisfaction is paramount. We were looking for a mobility scooter that was stable but light enough to lift and fit in a car boot.

On arrival, all the staff were pleasant, and although they could have quite easily pushed us into purchasing a new scooter, they were more than happy to show us two secondhand versions of the same 'illusion' model that were ideal and a lot cheaper.

I was able to test drive one around the shop floor, and patience was shown when explaining how it split into 5 pieces for easy lifting. Letting my husband dismantle and reassemble it several times. Even showing us how it would fit happily in our car boot space before buying.

I am really happy with my purchase. It will make walking any distance now a great deal easier while waiting for my much needed hip operation. 🙂

I have been using North East Mobility Warehouse for a number of years for aids for my mam. I would highly recommend them and they are my first port of call. The supportive advice and expertise of the highly knowledgable and caring staff is rare to find. They have assisted me with several issues over the years from commodes to tilt and recline chairs and they have never failed to deliver. From the sales staff whom I spoke to this weekend when the ram in the chair broke to engineers who were able to resolve an issue over the weekend, I could not ask for a better service. Wonderful people and so caring.

Thank you for the outstanding service given to my 96 year old mother-in-law. She is delighted with the folding rollator she chose. She finds it comfortable and secure. The brilliant staff, especially Jolene and Pauline, were very patient letting her try several models and also helping to find one we could fit into our car boot space.

I visited these store this week. As a relatively young man and first time wheelchair user I was quite anxious. Jolene was really supportive and understanding. She was so personable as well and it ended up being an enjoyable experience! They are incredibly knowledgeable and and just want what is best for the customer rather than pushing more expensive products. I came away with a wheelchair and having used it a couple of times already I am very satisfied with my purchase.
