Lukas finished fitting a 5.6kW roof solar system with a 10.4kW battery system today for me. From start to finish the knowledge and experience Lukas had made the project an absolute breeze. Attention to detail second to none with all cable runs discretely installed and the solar panels aligned and symmetrical on the roof. The scaffold installation Lukas used was really good and all tied into the house as per industry regulations. No short cuts taken here. Really impressed and was great to see on a domestic installation.

Everybody turned up on time with the installation planned for a 3 day duration, and that’s exactly what happened; Lukas has all the plant and materials available for each days tasks and there was no disappearing to pick up materials, arrived at 8:30 am each day and thereafter just head down and getting on with a quality job . Also, again attention to detail , all the installed equipment correctly labelled and clearly identifiable with the right electrical safety labelling could not fault.

Lukas took me through the operation of the system after commissioning and straight away already saved £4.20 from the installation from a cloudy day.

Lukas also provides a maintenance service that I’ll be using to keep the system in tip top condition for many years of operation

Lukas spoke us through the whole process of what was best for our solar system and supported us with our choice throughout. Really pleased with the work that was done here which included a 12 panel system on the roof a Hybrid Inverter and two 5kW batteries with bird mesh around the panels. The cost for supply and fitting was extremely competitive and was a no brainer as far as we were concerned. The day of the fitting went really smoothly the lads he had with him were polite and answered any questions I had. Our home and garden were also left the way they found it as they took every bit of rubbish with them. Lukas explained the app for your phone which accompanied the system and lets you know how it all works and what each part is doing as it’s going about the screen which is important when you want to know how to get the most from your system and use it wisely.
All in all a great experience from a company with a lot of knowledge about what they do, can’t rate them high enough thanks guys keep it up.

Lukas installed a 14 panel, 5.6kW system on two sections of our rear roof (one part pitched, the other flat) plus 9.6kW battery storage along with inverter in our loft.
Due to other, positive reviews, also being local to me, Lukas was the first installer I contacted. I didn’t feel the need to try anyone else, Lukas clearly knows what he’s doing and it’s him you deal with from start to finish.
His quality of workmanship and attention to detail is second to none (confirmed by the electrician who did the mains hook-up at the end of the job).
The system has proven to be highly effective, with our batteries reaching nearly full or full charge on most days since the start of March, on top of powering our house and charging my electric car.
Also, a very warm, friendly, easy-going guy, always available by ‘phone.
On the strength of my recommendation, my next-door neighbours employed Lukas to install a similar system in their house.

I had a problem with my solar panels and contacted Lukas. He came to my house without delay and informed me of the issue. He quoted to do the works very quickly and I accepted his quote. There was a delay in getting the new inverter, so Lukas fitted a temporary one, until the new one arrived. So I didn't lose out on any more generation tariff, especially at this time of year. Delighted with the work he done and how he kept me informed.

We chose Lukas Solar Services because, when we called them to enquire about an installation, we were asked a number of job specific questions like 'what way does your roof face?' or 'what is your annual usage?' and 'do you know the pitch of your roof?' when compared to other companies who seem to ask questions that were designed to work out much they can charge you.

From the beginning, the service was informative and professional. We only ever spoke to the person who would be conducting the works at our property, never a salesperson.

The works were well planned and we were involved throughout. Our opinion was saught on equipment placement, layout, cable runs and finishing. If we had any questions or concerns they answered quickly and succinctly.

The outside contractors organised by Lukas Solar {scaffold and electrician} were quick, neat and had obvious high standards.

The final job was ompleted quickly and with minimal disruption to our property. The installation inside the house has been done very neatly, the cable runs are deliberate and visible only where necessary.

After installation we were taken through the hardware and software and offered further support if the need arises.

We are very happy with the service provided.
