If a 0* star option was possible I would use it.
First of all I don't understand what they actually do - nor do their customer service team apparently. We, as private tenants in a managed apartment complex, do not have a contract with them nor do we have visibility of their fees and rates - we've received contradicting information from their customer care team on how to try and use their metering system to be more efficient and cost effective.
At the start of January, I had only recently topped up the meter and already had a low credit warning. In our one bedroom apartment with two adults, using two hours heating a day our Evinox meter cost was £60 in four days. This equates to just shy of £500 a month! For a metering service which we do not want / cannot manage ourselves but cannot exit! This cost of course being on top of our actual electricity utility bill for the period, which was significantly less than Evinox's charges.
Upon querying with the customer service team I'm told everything "is remote checked and working properly" and the operational team will come back in 14 days with a breakdown of our usage.
I'm now told the heating regulating system using timer settings does not function in comfort mode and instead will provide 24:7 heat regardless of your regulated timing settings... so the only way to manage your heating is switch the whole system off.
Really does seem a scam operation led by a company which self proclaims to provide "high quality leading technology", whilst issuing their best advice to date of just switch our system off.
Terrible - hope they get closed down sooner rather than later.
