We had Empire soft drinks in our hotel for 4 years, the drinks are good, and the service was ok from the few dealings I had with their engineers. The reason for my low score, is actually due to the removal of the equipment. I requested they remove the equipment and the staff on the phone were very helpful, however an engineer turned up who left both our bars and our hotel in a complete mess. firstly he flooded our cellar on one side then sprayed dilute pop liquid up the walls and the stair case on the other side. He carried the equipment out and left it right in front of the lobby door, having no regard for the health and safety of our guests, and finally he just cut the pipes and removed the equipment so we have been left with pipework sticking out everywhere, under the bars and in the cellars. I then wrote an email to the company explaining my disappointment and they couldn't be bothered to ring me back or contact me. This experience has marred my whole experience as I feel as though now Im not a customer they cant be bothered. I was thinking of using them to install air conditioning throughout the bars and dining room, but after this, I think Ill look for other quotes. Would I recommend Empire ? Based on how they apparently treat people who are leaving them, I would have to say no.
