Better known as British Gas, but they have other brands under the umbrella.
Used to be excellent service but these days find the service hit and miss if I'm honest. Their honesty is pretty good though and they will admit when they do something wrong and try to fix your problems. Definitely better than First Utility for instance.

Dealt with HIVE relating to a faulty hub. Deep dissatisfaction and disappointment with the Hive quality of service I have experienced since first discovering a faulty Hive hub 2 months ago. Since then, I have had 8 phone calls with Hive, multiple hours of (repeat) troubleshooting, calls with my internet provider, calls with the hub supplier and the suppliers and supplier and all without conclusion. During multiple calls with Hive over the past 2 months I have received inconsistent direction, incorrect information, unmet commitments. latest support person told me I needed to escalate to 2nd line.... which was done 5 calls previous. Now told to wait 2 weeks for investigation. SHOCKING SERVICE.

Having dealt with a lot of suppliers during our house renovation this year I can say that my experience with Hive has undoubtedly been the most disappointing.

It should not be this hard to replace a faulty component.

Getting any help with Hive is just awful and the lady on the reception who said her name was Nina is both rude and unhelpful and cuts you off mid call transferring you through to the team you asked her not to put you through to. I will not be buying any hive equipment in the future.

Centrica own British Gas who apparently have nothing to do with Britishgaslite, the online branch of British Gas. Well Centrica apparently own Britishgaslite according to all searches. Please supply a contact number for my numerous complaints I have raised with no response for over 5 months
