Absolutely brilliant service. My daughter’s washing machine broke down on Sunday. It couldn’t have happened at a worse time as she was expecting visitors and had bed linen and towels to wash. She went straight to King’s and Barnhams in Holt at 9am on Monday morning. Shaun and Stuart helped her find a Bosch machine to suit her budget, delivered and fitted it within one hour! By 9.55am on Monday morning she had a fully fitted brand new washing machine. They also disposed of the old one. Just goes to show that local is best and especially best in a crisis!

Caution ⚠️ Have just had a awful experience returning a damaged
microwave to kings @holt. Brought it less than a month ago and the glass from the door had almost fell out.
So took it back to the holt shop looking to exchange for a better model,but was told I need to go back to the manufacturer directly. After an unpleasant conversation and quite a while, they did eventually give a refund. This has made me so disappointed as over the years I have used them for so many things, wanting to stay local however after this experience I won't be using them again.

I had 40 down-lighters upgraded to led’s operated mainly by single gang rocker switches with a few push-button dimmer controls (switches), the work done was acceptable but nothing special. After nearly a year some of the dimmer type switches started malfunctioning. When I telephoned King and Barnhams (unfortunately just after the installation was a year old) to talk about the problem I was immediately told that it was no longer their concern as the installation was more than a year old and that if I had a issue with the products installed (although they had recommended the products and I had questioned if the dimmer controls were suitable for the led’s) I could contact the manufacturers myself - a totally unacceptable response. Subsequently they called me back having been in touch with their suppliers and agreed to change the switches although labour costs apply. This is a better and more appropriate response and should have been avoided. There is a lot of competition out there - their customer service needs to improve.

Rang K and B after the battery died in our K and B alarm system after 15 years. They sorted it same day, gave good maintenance advice and were very friendly and knowledgable on the phone. Impressive, recommended.

I have used this company a number of times and have always found the men helpful and quick to solve problems, which has been great.
Actually, I’ve just spoken to a woman who was very unhelpful, didn’t listen & was quite obstructive. Shame!
