In desperation we contacted Southern fuels asking if there was any possibility of delivery of oil in the near future. We spoke to Lol (I'm so sorry if I've spelt that wrong) in their office who said to leave it with her. Half an hour later she phoned and said she arranged for the tank to deliver to us the next day! The next day we received the oil in the morning. Lol phoned us back and asked if it had been delivered as she kept thinking about our situation. BoilerJuice charged us nearly £900 for 1600l. Southern fuels charged us just over £400 for 2000l. I know the price in oil had dropped so when I checked back on boiler juice, they're updated oil prices were still more than £300 more!! I cant tell you how grateful we are and we have now found our new fuel supplier! Thank you Lol and the whole southern fuel team.
I don't like to bad mouth other companies but it seems I wasn't the only one having this problem with other suppliers. We ordered fuel from Boiler juice thinking it was the best price for oil around. We were wrong. The oil didn't arrive for 5 weeks and we had no communication from them. They were ignoring our emails (they closed their call centres) and we ended up running out of oil. We had no heating and no hot water in a household of nurses and other key workers.
So thankful for companies like Southern fuels and would recommend to everyone looking to switch!

We buy out oil from these guys. They are an extremely professional supplier who do there best to deliver to tight deadlines if requested. Somebody always friendly on the phone too. Great service.

Driver delivered without disturbing myself, 10 month old baby and barky dogs. Left a calender which was a nice touch. Will go direct to them rather than boiler juice in future
