SMD replaced an old gas combo boiler with new electric boiler and water cylinder.
Excellent service from Dave and his team from start to finish. The job was quoted quickly, giving me a couple of options, the work was carried out efficiently and smoothly. Ideal for me as a landlord of the property not in the area. There was an initial hitch at my end getting hold of the keys from the letting agent but Dave was calm and helpful when speaking to me, and his electrician went above and beyond driving around to three places to finally pick up some keys.

Dave from SMD heating has been great in terms of service. He explained everything in detail during our first meeting and showed patience is answering all our questions. He was always available on call during the process to answer any questions or help us. The installation team was very amicable and helpful as well. We had a toddler at home and they ensured that she was not hurt and ensured her safety. Our installation took more than expected time due to some challenges but the team ensured we are not left without heating and hot water and during the weekend and worked tirelessly until midnight on friday to complete the installation which speaks in itself about their commitment to the client.
Dave even took our calls on a saturday to answer some of the installation related question and made sure to call us back in evening to confirm if everything was alright.
His team cleaned up everything immaculate after finishing the job and took all the rubbish with them without giving us any hassle.
I am thoroughly impressed by their service for the price quoted. I would highly recommend SMD as they will do an excellent job without any hassle and problems to the customer.

Very professional pre-installation visit. Although the quote was slightly higher than on-line companies, it was well worth it as there were no surprises during installation. We would highly recommend this company.

SMD Heating recently fitted our new combi boiler after our old traditional heat only boiler packed up after 27 years. We cannot shout loud enough about this company!

We were very undecided/confused on how to proceed with the replacement boiler based on our own research and the choices available (there are loads!), but SMD came to the rescue.

Following a free home (very thorough) site visit, SMD explained all the options available, and based on their assessment of our requirements, came up with the best solution for our home. Their expertise really gave us the confidence to proceed.

Super knowledgeable, quality workmanship, thorough, polite, friendly, prompt, extremely tidy, and competitively priced. Didn't even have to make a cup of tea - for 4 days!!

They tested and retested the new system and would not accept final payment until they were entirely satisfied that everything worked perfectly. It has also been very reassuring to know, if we have the slightest problem, they are just a phone call away.

My home is the warmest it’s ever been, the water the hottest and the shower pressure the best. This is entirely down to the expertise of their engineers choosing the right system for us.

We cannot recommend SMD enough - so much so, we have already signed them up to install a new en-suite!
Long review, but not one bit prejudiced. This has genuinely been a great experience and they deserve top marks!

I called on smd heating for some emergency help with my boiler in our restaurant that had gone down meaning we had no hot water and potentially out of business for the day. Luckily Smd heating were able to send an engineer called Matt very quickly and early enough for us to get it sorted, Matt was very professional and knowledgeable and was able to fix the issue. Everything was done tidily and put back ready for us to open our shop. Thank you so very much Smd heating, an amazing company one of which I will call upon again if needed and also a company I will recommend to anyone (including our customers) who may need heating help.

Got great advice from Dave about what we needed to replace our existing boiler which was becoming more and more unreliable. Two fitters came, they were clean, polite and hard working. They did an excellent job. Since the day of fitting we have had no problems whatsoever (although we haven't had the heating on yet) but it was all fully tested. I don't usually write reviews but felt that this company deserved one.
