Order coal at the beginning of December and it was due to be delivered on the Thursday before Christmas. However on the morning of delivery was left a voicemail stating that they would not be delivering.i phoned customer service and they was about as useful as a chocolate fireguard , on second thoughts that wouldn't have melted cos we had no coal , anyway customer service had no clue when this order would be delivered as we have no mains gas , left us no heating and we was forced to buy coal from the local garage.
Otherwise we would had been left with no heating over Christmas.
Customer service did offer us a free bag of kindling which is pretty useless without coal to burn , blaming bad weather and lorry breakdowns , the bad weather was the previous week and they are not specialists trucks and most hire firms have flat back trucks to hire , I suspect that they took too many orders to cope with and I cancelled the order but didn't receive a refund until I raised a dispute with PayPal .
Used to be a good company when it was Ferguson but due to corporate greed and moving the back room staff to chesterfield we now have a sub standard service and now found a local firm which is not only cheaper delivers on time and have no issues with and certainly will not be using CPL again

So very, very helpful. I ordered a resupply and was worried about clearing some space in the garage where the bags could go. But Daniel (from Stirling?) had been before I knew it and did all that for me. So very thoughtful and going the extra mile. Great business and great service. Hope you make the transition to the green future. You deserve to.

Beware of this poor company!! Placed an order via the website for "Surefire" advertised as "back by popular demand" but I was delivered something completely different. The product I got was not Surefire and by far an inferior product. To date this company has failed to respond to the two emails I have sent regarding this issue therefore I would suggest their customer service is about as good as the rubbish they deliver!!!

No acknowledgement of order placed online. Money taken from credit card in the name of a different company. Customer service line an absolute joke and the email contact address no longer functions. No stars possible

Cannot understand some of these reviews have ordered several times from Fergussons and have no complaints they have always delivered do not usually write reviews but was just online to order from Fergusssons and felt I should share my experience which so far has been excellent

Can only burn 1 fire at a time then have to empty ashtray, phoned to complain and got told someone would call back, thay was 1 month or more ago
