First off, this shop never has anything you want in stock. Every trip for long enough has resulted in an additional trip to Tesco as they never have enough stock or staff to replenish the shelves. Hence why I avoid the place. My partner went to by juice early am during yesterday's red weather warning, obviously they didn't have what he was looking for so he walked around the shop to see it they had any other multipacks dotted about somewhere else. What my partner said was he literally had a quick walk round but was obviously enough for the older staff member to come see what he was doing making my partner uncomfortable.
The moral of the story is apart from on a Sunday evening, Just go to Tesco...

Marked closed - this is wrong. It is open as it always has been. Reasonable corner shop. Usual Coop content. Cashiers do their job with the kind of atitude anyone would expect from any mind numbing job stuck dealing with the general public.
If you want to have your life enriched by a visit to the Coop (or any shop for that matter) or want to be entertained for the evening then don't go here. If you simply expect to buy grocery items then it is perfect for that.

Came in at 12.30 to get lunch, BLT stuff, pint of milk. Came out with some rolls and tomatoes. Why no bacon lettuce and milk? Lovely and tidy though. Sorry, but the girl on the till did nothing to make me feel better..

I have noticed some major supply issues with Greens since it took over from Coop. I have not been able to reliably buy tobacco products since it opened and I would like to give Greens' a chance to respond as this is a marked decline from the standard of the Coop.

Really shouldn't be without tomato ketchup for the breakfast rolls for weeks on end. They stock the stuff, for goodness sake!

This is my local and can never buy anything I need there. It’s so disappointing the only thing good about this store is there is a couple of very good staff that have outstanding customer service.

I am a recent convert to the Coop and like their general ethical standards. Given the size of the shop, they offer a good choice and the staff have always been helpful and friendly.
