The No More Digging contractor for the west of England twice failed to turn up at the agreed time. This showed he couldn't be trusted to do the job, but when I tried to get my deposit back, he said the contract allowed him to keep it.

I was shocked to find this is true. Even though I hadn't seen the contract, by paying the deposit, I had agreed to it. The No More Digging contract allows the contractor to change the agreed time to do the job multiple times, even at the last minute.

Don't risk losing your money like I did. Don't pay a deposit and don't use this company if the work is time critical.

Getting a garden room & needed strong foundations for it & the decking. The 4 friendly & polite guys arrived on time, were very efficient & hard working. Found the screwing in of the huge screws fascinating ! Tidied up after themselves too. Would have no hesitation recommending them.

A fantastic base has been installed, all in a (slightly long!) morning's work. Great communication throughout, professional can-do attitude, effective teamwork, and everything else the other reviewers have said: tidy, friendly, polite, efficient. I'd really recommend this over a concrete base: it's now waiting for our log cabin to be installed in a few days time: we wouldn't be able to say that about concrete. Meghan Trainor would be proud. 🙂
