Having had a few quotes for solar and battery installation I was really impressed with Rick from E.B.C. After initial chats he asked what I wanted or felt I needed to get the maximum benefit for me, no hard sell, just plain speaking in a language I could understand, also Anna was always available to answer any questions I had and texts messages and updates to install and payments all done super efficiently.

Scaffolding erected quickly and site left tidy upon construction, fitting team arrived when they said and had panels up in no time at all and tidied up after installation, Dale fitted battery for solar panels and his team also were very professional, explaining the app and how everything would work, again tidied up after completion of job.

All in I was very impressed with the overall service that The Edinburgh Boiler Company provided and certainly would recommend.

I recently got solo installed by The Edinburgh Boiler Company.

Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! is all I can say, from start to finish. Rick started off with the quote process, he was very professional, knowledgeable and explained the whole process to me end to end, answering all my questions. He knows his stuff when it comes to solo!! Also explaining how it all works and calculating the benefits / payback period by reviewing my current bills / usage. The whole sales progress was great, and not pushy for the sale which gave me time to review, ask follow-on questions and letting me decide when I was ready.

Once this was done, moving to the instalment - the full installation team was very professional and friendly from start to finish. Gareth led it all and explaining each step to me, including assisting with the final set up via the apps. The whole installation went like clockwork.

EBC were excellent throughout, especially with discussing the bureaucratic journey dealing with Home Energy Scotland, in installation of heat pump. EBC also provided a quote for a new boiler too. In the end, we chose a heat pump, and specifically with EBC due to their professionalism and customer service.

EBC were quick to respond, knowledgable with no sales tactics or pressure. Once funding secured, EBC were quick to get installation booked, and so far, excellent after sales. As the HES is prolonged, there were no chase up calls from EBC which was a good touch. In particular Liz, Thomas and Ana provided excellent customer service.

For installation, they subcontracted via their Green Flame programme with Home Heating Services, who again were excellent, efficient neat and tidy.

I would 100% recommend EBC.

Really happy with the install of our solar panels, inverter and battery. Rick did a great job putting the system together and providing a quote. Jordan and his team did a really neat and tidy install. Anna handled the scheduling well and dealt professionally with a minor logistical issue out of her control.

Great service from the start. Everything was fully explained to us prior to our new boiler and heating system being installed. When the team turned up (bang on time), Conor, Lee and 2 others whose names we didn't catch, were friendly and polite and made us feel confident enough in them to head out for the day and just let them get to work. They got through the job in good time and left everything tidy. The new boiler and heating controls were explained fully, and demonstrated to us before they left. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them.

Overall we had a very positive experience with the installation of our solar panels. Everyone, office staff, scaffolders and installers, were all great, helpful, polite and tidy. The installation looks great both inside and outside the house. We would use the Edinburgh Boiler Company again. We were slightly disappointed that the number of panels that could be fitted on our roof was 1 less than quoted (11 instead 12) meaning that the power we can generate is going to be less than envisaged.

Fantastic workers.
This is a great Company to deal with.From the no nonsense quote and helpful office staff,to the final fitting.

Yesterday the guys arrived right on time,just after 8, and immediately introduced themselves as Joey(boiler fitter) and Scott the joiner.And ,from that point on they worked like beavers to get the job done!! Scott completed his work,then Joey worked on , tirelessly ,to nearly 7 pm ,to complete the job! All the while,both guys couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Halfway through the day the roofers arrived to fit the new flue,then guys arrived to take away the old boiler,everything totally co-ordinated.

The job was completed and all rubbish removed,leaving the house tidy.And I now have a fantastic new Worcester boiler,which I am delighted with.

I have rarely seen workmanship like this,both guys are a credit to the company,and I would thoroughly recommend Edinburgh Boiler Co. to anyone,5 stars isn't enough!!!

We wanted solar panels & battery installed in our house and so we got in contact with the company (by my brother's recommendation) and Rick came over. He didn't push us for a sale but rather explained the ins and outs of what we wanted and answered any questions we asked.
After agreeing to what was needed, he sent us a detailed quote of all the parts needed, scaffolding and installation.
Once we agreed, a date was set and the installers installed our system in one day (14 solar panels & battery) after the scaffolding was set up the day before.
We are very pleased and happy with the whole ordeal and would highly recommend anyone wanting to have solar panels installed by this company.
