Fleming Homes were a joy to work with from the start. Really pleasant group of people to talk to, very patient and quick to respond to any queries (no matter how trivial it may have seemed).

We recently built our self-build home- Arhaven and purchased our kit from Fleming Homes. We were very impressed with the service from start to finish! I initially made contact to enquire about a kit house and heard back from them the next morning and they couldn't have been more helpful. They worked very closely with us, and we felt listened to at all times throughout the process.

Fleming Homes remit did the engineering, SAP calculations, construction, design and manufacture of the timber frame. We wanted a timber frame that was a high standard, and we were reassured at all stages with Fleming Homes as we knew the exact standards we were getting as it was all on paper. We knew that the kit would be of high quality as it was a prefabricated product manufactured within the factory which was then shipped to our site.

Living on an island, we wanted a timber frame that was quick and easy to erect on site. The whole house arrived on two lorries, which was highly cost-efficient and it was here when it was needed. It was then very easy to get the remaining products delivered on a third lorry when we required them which saved us money. It was easy to erect the frame as everything was well labelled and easy to find.

We would highly recommend Fleming Homes- they listened to us throughout the process, the kit is of a very high quality and made our build process relatively stress free! Thanks very much to everyone.

After attending one of the Fleming Homes demonstration days at the NSBRC Centre in Swindon, we decided to ask them to supply and erect a small detached house in our garden for us to downsize into. The frame is now up, and we are delighted with the end product. It only took six days to erect, despite 40mph gales forecast with the materials having to be craned over our existing house. All the team at Fleming are a delight to work with, and what is rare these days, there is always someone available to answer the phone.
We are now waiting for the follow on trades, but I am assured that if we find any minor issues moving forward, they will be there to offer assistance.

We bought a timber frame package including windows and doors from Fleming Homes and would fully endorse all of the previous comments about the high quality of both the product and the customer service provided by this company. From the inception of the project when it was a mere collection of ideas in our heads to the completion of the timber frame erect, Fleming Homes were with us all the way to guide, inform, trouble-shoot and advise. If you are a novice self-builder, looking for a fully professional, extremely competent and hugely experienced timber frame supplier who is more than willing to 'hold your hand' through your project, then you won't go far wrong in choosing Fleming Homes. Their knowledge, experience and willingness to help were invaluable to us, especially as we chose to self-manage our build. They are super-organised in all areas of the house-building process from taking the initial customer brief, through design, planning, architectural/engineering/building regs drawings and manufacture of the kit, to co-ordinating the timely supply and delivery of all materials. A word must also be said about Paul and Davey, our Fleming Homes-appointed erection team, who just worked and worked in all weathers to get the job done - they were nothing short of heroic! All in all, I would highly recommend Fleming Homes to anyone setting out on their self-build journey.

Having explored many alternative suppliers, we purchased our self-build home through Fleming Homes in 2021. Fleming Homes standard designs can be easily adapted to suit your own lifestyle, budget and design preferences; although, we chose to design our own property which was no trouble to Fleming Homes and they were an intricate part of our overall design process making several changes along the way.
They were professional, highly skilled, competent and supportive in every aspect from the initial introduction, draft proposals, planning stages, detailed construction design, delivery and erection services. Even once Fleming Homes erected the superstructure, they were there every step of the way during the final construction and fit out phase.
The detailed construction drawings, building control drawings and health and safety documentation were superb.
Our house was a substantial three story, 314m2 build with complicated roof, and yet, from delivery to being wind and watertight, the erection only took 13 days - quite amazing and allowing all follow on trades to work in the dry, as well as the house being secure.
We opted for the window and door package as well and very pleased with the standard and quality.
A huge benefit of choosing a Fleming Homes package was the cost certainty of a significant part of the overall budget and with the erection package meant this large cost portion was zero rated, meaning less stress on the budget.
The Fleming Homes website is a great tool for any self-builder and provides a huge amount of information, and what is not there to view is simply a phone call away with the team who have boundless knowledge and experience.
We love the result of what we have built and owe so much to the entire Fleming Homes team.
