I was replacing a gas fire with a wood burner. Being new to wood burners I had loads of questions regarding size of suitable burner, output and operating etc.
Gavin was most helpful.
The transition took 2 working days to remove gas fire, cut off gas then prepare previous flue for a wood burner.
All the workmen were very punctual, clean and tidy in the house while working and set up the burner showing me how to operate it. I was lucky enough that my original fireplace was able to be saved during this transition, which was just fantastic.
Having researched prior to purchase I chose this company and I would recommend them for workmanship, price and information.

Cracking job. Got 2 stoves fitted and Gavin gave great advice,really professional. Chris and Scott who fitted them were v accommodating - we asked them to make the opening wider and it was no bother. Very pleased with both the stoves and work to fit the surrounds.

Recently had a multi fuel stove installed by Gavin and the guys. Had initial issues with asbestos being found but once that was sorted the install process was extremely quick as Gavin managed to fit me in in-between jobs. The stove runs great and the guys the fit the stove were friendly and knowledgeable, also they're great at what they do. Would recommend.

Delighted with my wood burner. Great company to deal with.As a new stove owner I had some queries but they answered all questions promptly. Guys from Richardsons chimneys did a fantastic job fitting no mess and cut in all neat meaning I don’t need to redecorate. Highly recommend and the dogs love it !

We had an existing multi fuel stove installation that was in need of some attention. We had an inspection carried out and price for rectification carried out quickly.
Stove selection was easy at the showroom as displays were ideal to help us quickly make a decision on what would suit the character of our house.
The team knew we were keen to get new works carried out as quick as possible.
We were given a date which was moved forward due to a cancellation.
All works carried out to our full satisfaction.

From first contact through to install the experience with this company has been spot on. Gavin was quick to reply to any emails with advice and on hand during our visit to the showroom to pick our stove again giving advice on kW output needed for our room size. Install date was set and met with no fuss and the install itself was professionally handled from removal of old stove to install of new liner.stove and mantle. Zero mess was made or left behind during the process. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone in the future.
