Keep you in debt so you cant change suppliers. South African Agents are useless. They lose your payments by design. Pay by dtanding order. Have done every month. Because if customer service. Payments listed as missed , affected my credit limit when bank shows theyve been paid. Its illegal what they do. I asked for my ÂŖ1300 credit return. Was told I could only have ÂŖ1000.ÂŖ300 had to stay in account. Done so. Took the ÂŖ1000.They stopped my payments without informing me putting me into arrears. Not a company you wantvto trust.

Dreadful company to deal with. Took 15 months to replace a token meter. Had to take them to the ombudsman to get meter replaced. Kept getting threatened with debt collectors

A terrible company to suffer being a customer with. I paid my final bill using actual meter readings when moving house, they then sent onward bills to my new address; I spoke to a customer service advisor who confirmed it was paid and to ignore the letter. SEVENTEEN emails, FOUR ignored telephone callback requests later and over six months of giving up after waiting more than an hour each time when attempting to ring call centres and they have instructed a debt recovery agent!!
DO NOT SWITCH TO THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR HONEST CREDIT RECORD.
One star for the poor lady who I finally got hold of and listened to me.

After speaking to a Scottish Power customer service agent in Liverpool who was supposed to phone me back after her screen froze and never called me back.
All I need is to take over the electricity service contract for my new home, and have waited over 15 minutes on 3 further calls to their customer service centre in Liverpool.

In frustration and after 5 calls to Scottish Power's Glasgow head office switch board I was eventually put through to the CEO's office and spoke with Sandra the CEO's secretary, hopefully Sandra can find a solution.

As an example of good customer service, I set up a takeover contract for LPG gas supply for the same address from Calor in Grangemouth yesterday it took 10 minutes.

This Scottish Power takeover service is taking an eternity. Ofgen and the operators need to sort this nonsense out.

I HAVE A GRAND DAUGHTER UNDER THE AGE OF 2 YRS OLD AND YET TO BE A PRIORITY WAS A NO GO, THE REASON, MY SON DIDNT PHONE TILL ALMOST 10PM, I DO APOLOGIZE SCOTTISH POWER I WILL TRY AND MAKE SOMETHING GO WRONG WITH HIS GAS METER WITHING OFFICE HOURS!!!! SEVERE BRONCHITIS AND VERY POOR CIRCULATION IN LEGS FEET ARMS AND HANDS.... ITS MONKEYS THAT WORK WITH THEM AND YET TO TALK TO THE ORGAN GRINDER YOU ARE TOLD SORRY THERE ISNT 1 AVAILABLE.. SCOTTISH POWER I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT YOU CALL A PRIORITY? AN ALCOHOLIC THAT SPENDS MONEY ON BOOZE AND SCARED INCASE THEY FREEZE TO DEATH BECAUSE THE BODY TEMPERATURE FALLS A DRUG USER THAT HAS AN ADDICTION?
