Had to call Roy for an emergency call out as my boiler had stopped working. The heating engineer I had previously used had retired and I decided to give Roy a call based on his positive reviews. He managed to juggle his own work schedule to attend to my heating breakdown the next day.
He was highly professional, knowledgeable and he had my heating working again within 3hrs.
He then explained why the heating had stopped working and showed me the works he had carried out. Very trustworthy, reliable and friendly. Also reasonable prices !!.. I will definitely use Roy's services in the future and would have no hesitation in recommending him. Thanks again..

I contacted Roy on a snowy Sunday in a tight spot with an oil boiler. Roy answered quickly and asked lots of questions about the boiler to ensure that he came to the property with the correct parts. He attended within an hour and corrected a number of issues made by the previous installer of the heating system and recommended a course of action to get everything working as it should. He was able to get the boiler running so that we were warm and is going to contact me to quote/arrange future works. He also clarified the importance of servicing and I was very impressed by his availability and his knowledge. He also took the time to explain things and answered my questions so that I had an understanding of what had went wrong. My previous boiler engineer retired, so this put me in the position of having to find someone I can trust to look after the most important piece of equipment in my property - my HRM Wallstar Oil Boiler.

Thankfully I made the right choice in contacting Roy, who is one of the most professional and knowledgeable tradesmen I have met.

What I like about Roy is his thoroughness and technical prowess. He thoroughly examined all components of the boiler, cleaning where necessary and making recommendations on replacement components, with a full explanation of why an item should be renewed.

Roy also offered flexibility where others may not have been so accommodating. My boiler is wall mounted, which means access to the burner and other components must be via a ladder. My boiler type is also rare as it manufactured by a small company based in Norfolk. Roy simply adapted to the situation and got to work.

Roy serviced and repaired my boiler - he explained the boiler service to me really well and went over how the system works (very helpful since I've never had an oil-fired boiler before). There was also an issue with the boiler that he was unable to fix on the day, but he came back the next day - which I wasn't expecting and he definitely didn't have to do! - and got it fixed which was brilliant.
