Couldn't be more impressed by Solar Xpress from start to finish. Sales team (Matthew and Peter) spoke knowledgeably, very contentious of our personal requirements and ensured that we felt we got the best deal in what is a competitive market. The customer service from Damian made us feel even more at ease, knowing we could contact them at anytime and they would ensure we were looked after. Once we agreed to the work on the Wednesday they had already got men and materials ready to go for it to be installed on the Friday the same week.

The electrician (Michael) arrived at just gone 08:00 and worked professionally and quickly, before we knew it the inverter and battery was on the wall and most of the wiring and cable running was complete. He showed my wife how to isolate the system and got us up and running with a quick how to with the app in no time.

The roofer and panel installer (Danny and co) was very down to earth and also worked quickly. The panels have been installed to a high standard, as if they've been doing it all their lives.

From the work starting at 08:00 the whole job was wrapped up and we were producing electricity by 13:00. Couldn't be more happy we decided to go with these guys, and couldn't recommend enough to anyone sitting on the fence. Also left the working area clean and tidy with not a peice of scrap in sight. 10/10

Fast and efficient ! The guys worked hard in spite of the unfavourable weather and completed the job in good time. A bit of an issue with a lost meter connection at one point, but resolved before the electrician departed. Great work !

These guys were a pleasure to deal with right from the start, customer sales team weren't pushy and had knowledge of what they were selling, I had a Hypervolt car charger fitted which they ordered in especially for us, the installation was done by a very friendly guy who was happy to answer my questions and left us only when we were happy with how to work everything. I can't wait to deal with them again to arrange a battery installation.

Cheap fast get what you pay for. On my case a never ending headache. Poor installation on the roof, the sub contractor used the panel clips to bridge the rail gaps. 5 months in still no MPAN, export DNO. Turns out the system designed is larger than the network will accept so the export is limited meaning that the projected system performance is nonsense. Many phone calls asking for rectification not replied. Emailed NAPIT and RECC with solar express in copy informing official complaints procedure and they still haven’t responded. Disgraceful company. If you have an installation, insist that a 3rd party signed the installation off. Do not sign you are happy with installation. What do you know about solar installs? Maybe more than the guys. Got a quote from solarxpress which was really competitive and installation was super quick. I delayed the installation by a week because of Xmas but they were able to install and commission in about 6 hours with no fuss and no disruption. The system works great and the Duracell app shows exactly what’s happening with the system at any time. I run an air source heat pump so my electric bills are about £8 a day. The installation is saving me around 25% and we’re in the middle of winter. I expect the system will really come into its own as we get to the summer. The installation guys were neat and tidy and knew what they were doing. As an electrical engineer I was keen to see that the work was done properly it I need not have worried as everything was exactly as it should be. Well done guys great job.

Cannot recommend solar Xpress enough! From start to finish their customer service was fantastic. They managed to match a quote given to us and even offered same week installation. On the day of installation the electrician, Michael, was here at 8am and started straight away and worked very professionally and efficiently and had the installation nearly completed before the roofers were here. The roofer, Danny, turned up at 9am and got to work straight away, again very quickly but very professionally. The whole 8 panels, battery and inverter system was installed and up and running by midday which blew my mind! Will definitely be recommending them to everyone on our estate who want solar panels. Michael even took the time at the end to make sure all rubbish was cleared away and that everything was connected up. And even showed us how to isolate the whole system and didn’t just leave us to figure it out on our own. He even took the time to show us how the apps work. Very pleased with everything. 10/10
