Sorry guys, I can't support a company that won't uphold their two year warranty. I bought the pump in September 2023, the pump lasted 9 months and failed. I then contacted them to inform them and was told you have had over 4 pumps from us over the 12 years and because of that seemed to conclude that it was my fault why the pumps failed? That doesn't include the ones I have bought myself. Probably 8 -10 pumps in total. These pumps are poorly designed, if they don't leak at the main seal motor housing, its the pressure switch that needs replacing, or the pressure sensor, if not that, the capacitor fails which is all supposedly sealed in resin ( see photo ) I was informed by them that I was basically one of the very few people who have had lots of issues with pumps. However after speaking to people and reading the comments on here, looks like he's been giving me flannel eh Rob!!! I was told that water had ingressed into the cable which caused the MCB to keep tripping, hows that happened in an IP66 rated box, I think it's called oxidation.

At £350.00 a pop, I've probably spent over £2000.00 on pumps over 12 years, so the so called rainwater saving hasn't worked for me im afraid, I only got it cos the council insisted. I've now plumbed in mains water to my toilets and can now flush my dumps after 2 weeks of them arguing the toss of why I cant have another pump. At 1.1Kw of running at 45 seconds per flush, thats saves quite a bit on electric without the pump. The Graff system is a good system but the pumps are rubbish. If your thinking about it, maybe look at other pumps, otherwise in my experience just use mains water. The savings i've made on using rainwater have been heavily outweighed by the cost of the Graff system £3000. pumps £2000.00 not to mention all the plumbing and tractor hire to dig out the hole, probably looking at £10K.

Far from impressed with a so called service/inspection. Paid almost £300 upfront (I now know why you pay in advance!!!)for the visit, when their person arrived he didn't want to change to touch the main filter commenting "if its been working fine then best to leave it!" did change the adapter for the main panel so all in all that was an expensive adapter plug and guess what system still not working. Wouldn't use again!

Firstly the people at this company are very helpful and friendly, the Rain Director that I bought works fine but they have very poor quality of their own manufactured Hydroforce pumps. I have had 6 (yes SIX) replacement pumps from them over the last few years and now the latest one has failed. Most recently they are failing on the seal (showing oil / water emulsion round the seal area). By now of course the guarantee period has expired so I expect nothing will happen, but the cost of having an engineer replace all of these is what really hits.

RainWater Harvesting Ltd supplied the system for the eco house I built in 2016 in Cumbria. The system runs the outside taps and also the 2 ground floor toilets and the washing machine. It could have run all the toilets but I kept the upstairs on mains water in case of a power cut. With hindsight I wish I had let the system do all the toilets as the system is great and power cuts are rare around here. The true test of a company I feel is how it handles a problem. The pump failed whilst under warranty and the customer service was faultless. The pump was collected next day and returned promptly once mended and RWH paid all the carriage. I would definitely recommend to others and will use them again when we next build.

THINK TWICE BEFORE PURCHASING!
I purchased a underground rainwater system from RainWater harvesting around 2.5 years ago. During that time the system has proven itself to be remarkably problematic and generally unreliable. I have had numerous issues with the fuses blowing repeatedly in the raindirector control panel, the power supply failing and required replacement, and most recently and costly, the underwater tank pump has failed and requires replacing at a cost of 250pounds. Although the company are keen to help support and replace the failing components, it still does not escape the reality that the system breaks frequently (avg every 6months for me), and usually at the most inconvenient moments. I would therefore only recommend you get one of these systems if you either particularly enjoy using a pan to flush poo down the loo, or are tempted by an alternative career as a plumber. Also bare in mind that any potential cost savings in water use will not ever be met due to the need to frequently replace the various components. Hopefully the company will begin to take the reliability of their systems more seriously and will begin to provide longer warranty and better after service to those brave fools who actually want to do the right thing.

Can''t recommend this product enough. Great product, really happy with the performance and cost savings it has provided. Also, it's very easy to install and has been performing brilliantly over the last 18 months since installation. Do you want to save money? Invest in an underground rainwater system from RainWater harvesting.
