Customer service is excellent. I had a feeling after my first call with them that they were going to be great to deal with, and this proved to be the case when the job was completed. So much so, that we have used them since, and are about to book them again for our boiler service. Their communication/billing/payment system is efficient and impressive. I thoroughly recommend.

Our heating stopped working and Smartheat Plumbing & Heating came out the same day and fixed it within an hour. They have been looking after our boiler for a few years and always do a very good job. People are polite, on time and clean up after them selves. We feel as though we are in very good hands.

We signed up with Octopus for a smart meter to be fitted. Their engineer installed smart meters on our electric and gas. He announced there was a drop in pressure in the gas so he turned it off and cut and capped the pipe. This left us with no heating or cooking one week before Christmas. As he left he said we need to find a gas safe engineer to sort the problem. Fortunately Smartheat were able to come within a few days.
Smartheat restored the gas, fitted new pipes to our boiler but couldn't trace a leak to the gas fire. At least we had heating and cooking restored thanks to Smartheat.
Final word on Octopus:- their engineer re-installed our solar panel sensor the wrong way round depriving us of any solar power that I only discovered 3 months later.

Smart heat fitted me in last minute around existing commitments to get my oil boiler back up and running again as soon as possible. The engineer was polite, thorough and made sure they clearly went through the actions they'd taken. Area was left tidy and fix didnt take long. Would use again if required.

Was recommended this company by someone we know. Simon came out, really knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. Everything seemed promising. They sent their engineer out to fix a fault. Another good person visited, paid for diagnostic, when I wanted a repair. Was promised to be given a quote for parts and repair. Received no call. I then waited weeks. I called the office at least four times and was promised a call from Simon, it's now been months and no joy in getting the quote for my new boiler system. Really disappointed, I regret waiting so long for you. Simon, not a way to do business...

Urgent repair to leaking hot water tank on 23rd December. Water pouring through the ceiling and no hot water over Christmas. No plumbers available it seemed!

Contacted Smartheat Plumbing. No problem they said. Engineer with us by 14.00. Hot water tank leak repaired.

Summery…efficient, helpful and professional.
The only negative was the job was v expensive. But given the time of year and the urgency of the fix, we were happy to pay.
