Genuingly the best dog food company to ever ever exsist. We have tried all food from kibble raw etc, this is the only dog food that keeps his IBS under control. I am so thrilled. He also gets free treats here and there. I am so thrilled. I feel like a weights been lifted off my shoulders and my dog is finally healthy.

Also the packaging and how much you get is so much smaller and easier to store than other foods.

I'm surprised at all the bad reviews as I've had nothing but a positive experience. Yes it is a subscription service but it's pretty obviously the case when you sign up so I don't see how people are finding that difficult to understand. Pricing is all very clear as you go. Reasonably priced compared to other competitors too! Easy to adjust delivery schedule. My incredible fussy poodle did well on this. I love how versatile the food is, you can make it with more or less water to suit what you do with it. This meant I could make a nutritious "soup" for her on her bad days or roll it into dense balls to hand feed. So easy to cancel the plan when she sadly passed away and a little personal email from customer services. All round great experience and would recommend to anyone.

The company sell you an initial cheap food option for them to charge you nearly treble the next time (went from £24 for two weeks to £62.09 for the month). I found it very difficult to find the price for the food until they send you out an email receipt and by then it's too late to change it. Their opinion is if they mark it as packing then it's too late to change it and you can't send it back for a refund even if you dont open it.
Other online pet food stores are cheaper. I used the customer chat option and I didn't like the tone of the way they spoke to me. Do not recommend.
Changed from 1 star to a 2 star as I spoke to someone on the phone instead called Kirby who was very kind and had great customer service.

Absolutely Appalling and Potentially Unlawful Practices

I recently attended the Mowgli Dog Show at Claremont Farm and was approached by a Pure Pet Food sales representative. While the representative came across as friendly and informative, the situation that followed has been nothing short of disgraceful.

I was offered a trial sample for £24.50, with a clear understanding that this was a one time purchase. At no point was a subscription, contract, or recurring payment agreement discussed, let alone signed or confirmed. This was presented as a simple trial nothing more.

Fast forward three weeks and I return home to find another identical box of food delivered food that my dog will not touch and did not enjoy the first time around. To make matters worse, £45.27 has been taken from my account without my knowledge or consent. I have not authorised any ongoing payments, and there is no direct debit in place that I can cancel. This raises serious concerns about how my bank details were stored and used without explicit permission.

This feels like a blatant misuse of my personal and financial information, and I will be taking further action. I will be contacting my bank to block any future unauthorised transactions, and I intend to report this to Trading Standards and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for potential breaches of data protection and consumer rights laws.

Consumers deserve transparency, and this underhanded approach to customer acquisition and retention is unacceptable and deeply unethical. I strongly urge anyone considering this company to proceed with caution.

Really not happy with this company as the instructions on how to mix is completely inaccurate as it set like concrete after 5 minutes if directions are followed. also caused my dog not wanting to eat resulting in having to cook human food for her due to her not eating her tailored food we have never had any problems with her eating habits until we used this product

Originally I left a bad review because I wasn’t happy about something regarding my plan. However I have received fantastic customer service today from Rebecca, she has helped me massively get the best value for money plan. I was feeling frustrated and was going to close my account. It’s always worth having a conversation with them before making a rash decision as I am very happy with the outcome, and feeling slightly embarrassed about my original review. A lot of companies get bigger and seem to stop caring about the customers in this day and age, I come across it all the time. I can genuinely say that Pure Pet food, do care about their customers and they will do what ever they can to help you and your pets. Thanks again for all your help Rebecca, it’s very much appreciated.
As for the product itself, I’ve never had any complains all of my 5 dogs love it.

Dishonest! We saw a rep and agreed to buy a sample (at a significant cost) to see if our poorly dog would eat it. The agreement with the rep was that this was a one off sale of the sample and if the sample was satisfactory we would subscribe. The sample was not successful so we did not contact the firm to subscribe. To our dismay we arrived home to find a box of useless food and they had (dishonesty) taken a subscription fee from our account. Contacted the firm who said we had subscribed and basically saying "tough". Reporting to Action Fraud. This firm seems rotten to the core.
