Reasonable prices - too good to be true! Order was only part delivered. Its now day 13 of waiting for my cable, with no tracking available and after some 30 phone calls over various days in the last week, nit once have I got through to either customer services or even sales - you just get cut off after three minutes and told to leave a message. Will not be using again and have a paid premium for cable delivery and now have no idea how to proceed for a refuns. Cable sourced from elsewhere in the meantime.

Worst electrical supplier i've used. Ordered a EV cable for a charger installation I did for a customer, paid next day delivery and it took 2 weeks to arrive... when it finally did arrive, its the completely wrong cable which is not usable.
Its now week 3 and I'm still waiting for a reply on how their going to fix this, and my customer has an ev charger fitted but no cable to charge their vehicle... disgusting

Fantastic experience with West Base. They have a great selection of supplies, and Ravi was really helpful when trying to sort out a large - and pretty messy - order. Ravi took the time to review the items in detail and provide clarifications as needed.
Communication was top-notch throughout the process, and I was seriously impressed with how quickly they got everything sorted and shipped out. Highly recommend.

Great service from West Base. I visited their counter to collect second fix items for my refurbishment, they had about 80% of it in stock, the balance was delivered to my house within a few days.
I had some returns due to an incorrect count from my builder, which I dropped off personally, my refund was received within a few days.
A month after all was said and done, one of the USB-C ports on my Knightsbridge sockets wasn’t working, I emailed them and had a replacement delivered within a few days, West Base informed me they didn’t have stock of said item & it had to be ordered in hence the delay.
Great experience with West Base, I hope I don’t ever have to go through a refurbishment again, but if I do, I would 100% give West Base a call!

Prices are good, but terrible online service, not sure about in store as im based in the north. Very very hard to get hold of someone to talk if having issues.
I had issues with my order. I did receive my order in the end hence 2 stars and not 1 star.
As an electrician and business owner, time is money. I had to cancel and rearrange jobs, if I knew, I would have order from else where.
I received the full order of £120+ worth of materials 3 weeks later..... I was expecting no longer than a week as they said next working day it will be dispatched.
1st delivery, I had half my order missing, i then tried calling up, no answer, Facebook message and email, no answer. Been calling everyday for had been 3 days and finally someone answered, after the 4th phone call. I mentioned that half my order was missing. And was told that it will be chased up and will be called back later. No phonecard back, so I called the next day as they were closed.
Then I was told that the materials are on back order as no stock and will let me know what's happening. Firstly, I was not told they had no stock on some of the materials, the website didn't mention either.
Secondly, there was no communication, i wasnt told or no update was given as they said theyll find out whats happening and give me an update (which again they didnt). At that point if I'd known, I would've gone else where even if the cost was a bit more, as the clients were all booked into my diary, which means rearranging my whole week.
2nd order came few days later and again missing items of the order and this time only 2 items missing.....
I was praying it wouldn't happen a 3rd time, which thank god I finally had recieved the full order.

EDIT: actually realising the wiska membrane screw glands that I ordered should come with the lock rings, but it didn't. They said they sell it separately, never heard anyone sell them separately after all the years of using them. They said it mentions on the website when it doesn't not mention about the lock rings what so ever. I needed them for the next day too, which they said theyll get back to me and itll be sorted out on the day of call, but not been called or anything. I've already had to Taken some off my stuffing glands which now I don't have enough of....

Ofc if an order goes well, then ok, but when things go wrong that's where the real service and customer support comes in and it's just not great.

I just get a feel of no organisation or communication with their clients, I've looked at past reviews after experiencing this issue and I can see I'm not the first to say that too.

This is just an honest review, in my opinion wouldn't recommend myself (AS AN ELECTRICIAN), but its not for me to tell people to not purchase anything from them.
For me, I just won't be purchasing materials again unless the service is drastically improved.
