I recently had a deeply unsatisfactory encounter with M247 that compelled me to share my experience. Despite initially engaging their services for fiber installation, I was met with nothing short of disappointment and frustration.

From the outset, there were communication discrepancies that led to the cancellation of the installation. Despite my clear understanding that the service could not proceed, I was shocked to receive unwarranted invoices from M247. Not only did they fail to fulfill the agreed-upon service, but they also attempted to charge me for work that was never undertaken.

This blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and ethical business practices is deeply concerning. As a consumer, I expect transparency and integrity from service providers, qualities that were sorely lacking in my interaction with M247.

Furthermore, attempts to seek clarification and resolution have been met with silence and evasion. It is disheartening to see a company prioritize profit over principle, leaving customers like myself feeling undervalued and disregarded.

Technical issues and poor customer service. They had a faulty hardward in Dec 2023, took a whole day to get it changed; but soon after that our office vpn setup had issues even though we've never changed any of our settings. It's been over a month and they still haven't been able to resolve the issue or willing to send another tech person over to help resolve the issue. Just keeps pushing the issue back to us saying its our local settings, not helpful at all.

The Wifi has been temperamental and even none existent for months now since before October half term, in my uni accommodation at Phoenix Place Liverpool! After multiple attempts to contact the company (most of the time to no avail), nothing has been done to fix the issue, leaving myself and many other students struggling to complete work for deadlines! Definitely wouldn't recommend this provider due to lack of communication and poor service!

We ceased working with M247 in 2020 due to the ever declining customer service levels. Despite us changing to another provider and M247 knowing about this, they have continued to charge us for one of the managed switches despite the fact they no longer provide connectivity. To re-iterate....NO internet traffic passes through it! We have contacted on countless occasions....credit control, customer care etc etc and no one ever sends a reply or gets in touch to conclude this matter. Also, on one of our other buildings they have still not attended site to remove their equipment.....again, despite requests. We are now looking at hiring the necessary high access equipment....cherry picker etc to resolve this. M247 this charge will of course be passed onto yourself and will far out- weigh the amount you keep repeatedly sending us statements for!

Terrible, they usually don't respond to support tickets, follow up phone calls or repeat follow up phone calls. I made an official complaint so their customer services manager emailed back to say he'd call to discuss on Tuesday, but never called, I've emailed twice and called once to try to get that call, still nothing. The Tuesday I was talking about when he said he'd call was the 16th August, that's now 3 weeks ago. My official complaint was on 11th July, that's now over 8 weeks ago, and the reason I raised an official complaint is because in June, they didn't renew 2 domains set to auto renew, when we had credit in our account, and couldn't explain why, so 2 clients lost email and websites, this is not a trivial matter...

Internet connection is fine, however, their auto renewing 12 month contracts are blatantly exploitative and are designed for no other reason than to maximise revenue, at the expense of the customer. If it wasn't, they'd send out an email 30 days before contract renewal reminding you that your 12 month contract was due to renew. No other broadband provider I have encountered, and I have encountered many in the the course of my work, have a restrictive contract like this. We have an empty premises that we are now forced to pay for a connection we cant use.

I feel so strongly about this, I will be putting a website together to warn people of this unethical practice by M247.

Unbelievably poor service. Internet went down on Friday, its Monday now, still have no internet, no explanation nothing! Apparently someone has decided to casually 'pop down to have a look'. Not here yet, we have 70+ staff waiting.

A kind warning, if you're a business don't go anywhere near these people. It will cost you big time. Never have I come across such a poor attitude towards their customers. Can't wait to leave these people. Our new contract can't come soon enough.
