Went in this afternoon. The lady with dark hair, in her 30s or early 40s, at the counter had a really bad attitude problem. She needs training in customer service. Either that or you need to sack her.
Not had an issue with Bingley branch before. I Went to buy a silicone and she literally started barking at me. Won't be back again unless you get decent staff who actually know how to talk to people. In the past, the staff have been great. Standards have definitely dropped at this store in 2024. Not coming back again after that awful experience.

I’m a tradesman and use Screwfix stores all over the country, just come to collect an order at the Bingley branch and dealt with Sarah the duty manager. Right from the start I sensed at attitude from her. Then we gathered my order which my boss ordered was at a different branch, this has happened before and never seems to be that much of an issue, but I could tell that her attitude got worse and when I was trying to speak to my boss on the phone to get details for her she had the cheek to say I was being rude! Absolutely bang out of order, I was definitely not being rude and it annoyed me to the point I had to tell her about how she was acting and she then decided to argue back, is this how a manager should treat there customers and also influence her staff?

Been made to use the check in tablet when your the only person in store is lazy and soleless. Soon the counter staff won’t have a job because there actually no need for them other than picking the goods.

Try been a little more human and less robotic.

Perhaps next time help the customer at the counter and politely ask them if they can use the check in tablet on their next visit instead of giving some waffle about not been logged in to the computer when it’s 7am and your supposed to be open and ready for work.

Really helpful. I had a discount voucher that wouldn't work online for click & collect.
Went into the store, where they tried it and it didn't work, so they manually, put things through and applied the discount.

sick of the parking issues at this store due to the grammar school... the carpark is completely full from 1.50pm to 2.30pm every day with people waiting for their kids... I'm a self employed plumber and ever time I come to this store at around 2pm and the carpark full I just go to duftons over the road instead because there carpark has a guy who won't let the parents in to wait... Screwfix must be losing a small fortune over the course of a year.. a few thousand pounds just from me yearly.

Always had good service here, all the staff are cheerful and polite. I had an issue with my online order (nobody's fault, just a computer error) and they happily sorted it for me with the minimum of fuss.

Hate to leave a bad review in my home town but the two duty managers that served me on Sunday were incredibly rude and unhelpful. No help from the first one at all, she told me they didn't sell what I had to buy and seemed totally disinterested in helping me at all. Had to go and sit in the car and find it online then go back in the shop. The second one did find the part for me eventually after a bit of cajoling but was completely unfriendly from start to finish. I've always used screwfix and never had a problem but these two have put me off going to the Bingley branch again.
