I’ve been using these guys for my supply of coal briquettes for years & years and although the service and reliability, not to mention the pleasant manner on the phone when ordering.
It has now got to the point for me anyway, that I feel they have now out priced 💰them self on the supply of coal,

I feel that it would now be cheaper and less hassle to put the central heating on in the house, at least it would warm every room in the house instead of one central point downstairs.
One of the biggest and most important downsides to this company is, if you order before winter 🥶 when you have run out of your previous order, you get sent sacks of soaking wet briquettes, which are completely impossible to dry through the winter months which makes them useless And they do not produce any heat 🥵

I visited Ken's this afternoon for only the second time since I purchased my boat.
This is a little gem of a place, bit like going back in time, with proper blokes running the show.
I could spend hours there putting the world to right, chatting about anything and everything.
The coal and wood is top notch, and the service and prices would be very hard to beat. Keep up the good work lads, see you before Christmas

Excellent solid fuel company, professional advice always, delivers on time ,every Ken Waring person is very kind and cheerful and the Lady who answers the phone for orders is always ready for a chat,sadly solid fuel prices have risen ridiculously but it's not the fault of Ken Waring and sons,it's their suppliers who regulate the price.
