Full Rewire and Fault Fixing Done Right

Mark from Figjam Solutions did a full rewire of the property I’m renting, and the difference is night and day.

He didn’t just patch things up — he completely redid all the circuits, fixing unsafe and poorly done work left by previous electricians. He installed a new consumer unit (fuse board), resolved issues with the RCDs constantly tripping, and made sure everything was brought up to a safe, modern standard.

He carefully checked all sockets — including regular wall sockets, dedicated ones for storage heaters, the immersion heater, extensions, and lighting. Everything now works as it should, safely and reliably.

Mark responded quickly to our problem with an electrical circuit that controlled a number of downstairs lights. We had a fault where some spotlights would not switch off at either wall switch. I had also noticed a burning smell and had switched off the circuit. Mark quickly identified the problem
as arcing which had damaged one of the switches. This was replaced and Mark then tested all of the circuits for safety and gave a clean bill of health. He also gave some practical advice about replacing some spotlights with a central light fitting. I would strongly recommend Mark he is friendly and enthusiastic and gave a very reasonable bill for his work.
