Good selection of items in the store. Limited parking. Not many staff members around to ask for assistance if needed. Located next to a petrol station with fast EV chargers. A massive improvement on the old store.

I have visited this branch more often than in the previous 10 years at their old site. Every visit is a pleasure with welcoming and smiling staff each time. They are knowledgeable and helpful. In particular the garden crew deserve comment and the paint mixer. Nothing too much trouble for customers.

I went to buy garden compost but found that you needed a pound coin for a trolley. I’m like many and only use my phone to pay. It’s crazy in today’s world expecting customers to have a coin on them. The store is away from anywhere and unlikely to lose trolleys. They must miss so much business. The old store was much better.

Sometimes over staffed others under. A lot of products not on shelves & having to be ordered for delivery, poor choice of plants, however staff r helpful & layout of the shop is good but the carpark is a nightmare!

B & Q What were you thinking when you came up with the idea of moving to Tweedbank?! What an absolute car crash of a decision. It is the exact opposite of a tardis whereby it looks larger from the outside but inside the place is crammped and uninviting with very little produce on the shelves.

Three times I've been to the new store and each time I've walked away without getting what I needed.

The staff are like robots and constantly repeat "You can go online and get click and collect" Well actually, no I cant. Generally I want an item straight away and so i cannot wait for something to be delivered to the store...Now I use other DIY stores should I need something immediately and head down to the Carlisle branch should I need something more specific.

So, so disappointed with this new store.

B & Q, I suggest that you sack your decision makers!!

Absolutely Awful – Gets Worse Every Time!

I don't even know where to start with B&Q Tweedbank. The place is an absolute disaster. The staff are completely uninterested, rude, and about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. Every time I visit, the service somehow manages to get even worse. No one seems to know what they're doing, and trying to find someone to help you is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

To make it even worse, the whole place stinks. Seriously, there's a horrible, unpleasant smell as soon as you walk in, and it's been getting worse every time I go. It’s like they’ve just given up even trying to make it a decent shopping experience. The whole store feels bent and broken — just like the staff's attitude.

Save yourself the headache and shop literally anywhere else.

More staff than customers! A few of the more mature staff knew what they were doing. I had to get the attention of some guy wearing a lab coat and green hair to cash out. There was no one at the till but I counted at least seven members of staff 'Floating' all within eyeshot of the till. I can bet you none of them knew what a Yankee screwdriver was! The woman that was waiting with me said it perfectly. 'It wasn't great when in Galashiels, you may as well flush the toilet now'!

Just a bit disappointing, the relocation seems bizarre to me, the store before was much more user friendly and in a more convenient location. The new store is much more awkward to navigate and very crowded, wish you had stayed in your old store it was much better! staff lovely as always though.
