I used Richardson and Starling due to a couple of previous positive experiences. True to form the lived up to my high expectations.
The pre-work surveys were carried out bang on time, a fair price was given and a flexible date for the work was scheduled.
The damp proofing work was completed quickly and efficiently. The onsite team were excellent, worked effectively and cleanly. The finishing of the plaster work was excellent. I've no hesitation in recommending Richardson and Starling.

James kindly visited my property to assess some mould on two walls, and provided some great advice. He then emailed me after his visit to confirm his recommendations. I had a damp problem rear part of my property.Richardson & Starling Ayr in to do the work. John and Lewis ( plaster and joiner did the work. Trustworthy, knowledgeable and professional in all they did. Cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend this company.

After a survey of our damp cavity wall (initially injected with foam insulation which failed so was removed some years ago) it was apparent that some of the wet foam was still inside and furthermore the wall ties had rusted and were responsible for the latest damp. The surveyor's remedy was to isolate the rusty wall ties and put in new ones which would not rot and also to remove the residual wet foam. Without going into detail, a weeks hard work (in freezing conditions) by Evan and John from the Carlisle Branch saw the repairs completed. They were careful, clean, considerate and cheerful all week and made sure we were fully informed of progress at all times. So we are very pleased to publicly review their efforts and award them five stars. Well done and thank you.

I contacted R&S to carry out a survey of my basement to scope out an issue raised in my homebuyers report.

The survey was really detailed and the findings were well-documented, so that the required work was easily understood.

Graeme & James arrived from the Glasgow branch to carry out the work. My own work allows to critique the extent and scope of the structural work and how it was done, and I can attest to a high standard of work and appropriate scoping.

Graeme and James refitted my underfloor insulation. This was not in the scope and they cleared away any sign that they had been there.

I am extremely impressed by all aspects of my experience with R&S, and particularly grateful to the two lads for their help.
