Incredible experience, getting up close and personal with so many great aircraft. I went on the evening Technical Tour and I recommend it 100%. The people are so knowledgable, amenable and enthusiastic. We were split into two groups and were guided to the hangars containing airworthy display and paid trip aircraft, and then alternated to see the hangar where aircraft are being worked on. The rain cleared just in time to see a Spitfire started up just outside the hangar. Amazing, wonderful, memorable!

Visited Biggin Hill Heritage Center earlier this month. Had a great time. They allowed me to buy one more ticket at the door. Although the ÂŖ50 price per head is abit steep, we enjoyed the tour and was able to see alot of old WW2 planes espeically the historic Spitfire. All planes are still repaired on site and its a working workshop and hanger. You could also book to have a special Spitfire flight from here. All the exhibits were kept in good condition. All round a good tour 👍😁

Did the hangar tour and it was the best ÂŖ49 I've spent in a long while. Learned so much walking around the beautiful aircraft.
The workshop was enthralling - seeing different aspects of the restoration process was a real privilege.
A very professional and friendly visit which I highly recommend.
The cafe as you enter the main site is excellent too 👍

If you are interested in the Battle of Britain and/or the aircraft involved, then this is the place to come. Our super knowledgeable tour guide steered us through the complexities of every aspect of the aircraft. It's well worth a visit for the tour, but if you have a little more money you can book a flight.

Fabulous tour of the Heritage Hangar recently. James the tour guide gave great info, with the perfect balance of interesting trivia and technical info. Loved it and recommended to many!
Was amazing to see the level of work on the aluminium structures, and being 15ft from a Spitfire starting up will not be forgotten. Thanks.

James was an excellent guide, very personable, informative and interesting, despite the constant interuptions of the rivetgun (a Spitfires wing was being worked on). We started the tour in the workshop hangar, then continued into the storage hangar, with several Spitfires, BF 109's, Mustangs and a P40. James was able to expand on the qualities and shortcomings of each type. Altogether a great day. We were taken outside to watch a Spitfire land. Brilliant!!

A friend and I did the hanger tour and wow, this is an incredible experience and not to be missed. You are essentially entering the most amazing man cave full with Spitfires and Merlin engines in various states of restoration. There are also some other period aircraft and vehicles, recovered Spitfire fuselages, engines and components. This is not a museum, it's a working hangar from which they restore and run Spitfires, both their own and those belonging to other customers including the RAF. The opportunity to chat with a skilled engineer restoring a wing and have an expertly and enthusiastically guided tour of everything in these hangers was a privilege. We also saw two departing flights from start up to take off. You won't get closer to these amazing aircraft without flying in one.

I would just like to say a big thank you for an enjoyable and informative trip round the heritage hangar and workshops. The friendly and helpful staff. Our guide for the tour, Del was enthusiastic, affable and was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We were blessed with fabulous weather and were able to see a first ever start up on a mark one Spitfire and of course take off of the two seat Spitfire. A brilliant day out .
