Edinburgh

Peter Boyd was a fantastic ambassador for Leap. When I was referred to you by Sigma through Scottish Power, I was not sure what to expect or the motives for coming to my home. I live in a flat in parking-controlled area so it's a little hard to visit unless you're in the 15min city. When Peter arrived, he was courteous and polite. There were some areas that he could not assist in because I am a tenant, but he discussed other areas and explained why my property was not smart metre compatible. He told me I was doing everything right to mitigate my circumstances in relation to energy use and it was enlightening to hear further measures. I appreciate the visit and I felt that I am better prepared to deal with the upcoming hurdles that I will have to face going into 2024. Thanks Peter.

It's pretty much a waste of my time.

I contacted LEAP energy in hope i can be put onto the boiler scheme they might hopefully have funding for this year, i arranged a home visit and today had my home visit by somebody who literally went by the books and was strict about the rules about the free boiler so probably not his fault but.
My boiler has been broken over 2 years that means for over 2 years i have not had any central heating or domestic hot water which means my only source of running hot water is an electric shower and my only heating is portable electric heaters, i am on jobseekers allowance and is disabled and vulnerable and i own my home but absolutely nobody at leap energy can help me because they are too scared to touch a boiler thats not been used for 2 years because apparently it will all be seized up well sooner you sort it the easier its going to be because i cannot afford no way a new boiler either out right or on finance or on subscription (boxt) no way can i afford it and no way can my family and friends help me out with that and i can't get one from eco4 scheme because the broken boiler i got is condensing so i am literally not eligible through no making of my own to a free boiler from anybody i am going to find this winter very very hard and even more expensive than last winter i think i can end up in hospital.
Are there no kind charitable generous caring people out there? I'm on my knees here

Absolutely useless people.Elderly disabled parents needed boiler replacement and Agility Eco promised to treat the case as urgent.Six weeks later and despite several phone calls to their customer service line who keep promising to expedite, we have heard nothing further. This company are using taxpayers' money to fund their scheme but if our experience is anything to go by they are misusing or diverting these funds elsewhere. No explanation has been given as to why a promised two week turn around is now in its seventh week of waiting.

Dreadful!
Arrange an appoint for an inspection. Few day close to the inspection I receive another e-mail displaying a different date and time. Having raised this, I'm informed the system had auto generated a new date and the new date stands. Funny that, I can't recall automated system having a name and signature, or a job title called Senior Quality Assurance Analyst. Having ignored this I awaited someone to visit on the agreed date. 3hrs later, I'm still waiting on my engineer to visit. I called the number on the e-mail issued and it doesn't work. I emailed asking where the engineer is and I get told someone they will look into the matter. 2hrs later I send another e-mail stressing my frustration having lost my entire morning. Shortly after I receive a call where I am told due to snow the engineer could make the appointment. Fair enough I get that. But why couldn't no one call to inform me of this a day before or the morning of the appointment. Why after 2 emails and several hours later I'm getting a call with this update? And then being offered another appointment. I declined to book another appointment and have since decided to find someone else. So unprofessional, and incompetent.

First contacted a local organisation about a replacement boiler around March 2021 . Filled in many repetitive forms, endured many repetitive phone calls and generally got passed from pillar to post. EPP, LEAP... Ended up with Agility Eco. Got delcined this week because the scheme ended on June 30 2022. Massive waste of time to say the least!

I've been dealing with Warmer Homes which I believe is owned by Agility and they are a complete shower, they don't listen to me and ignore what I say, they should not be running a Government Grant Scheme, they are deplorable, this has cost me money, they don't communicate with each other
