Awful transition to fibre. Taken months and 4 visits and still not resolved. Their 'Complaints Handling' is laughable and their technical support useless - just blaming their partner Trooli. Avoid Zen at all costs!! If zero stars were possible they deserve it!

Absolutely atrocious fibre reliability. Poor service or help in resolving the issue. Seems the Openreach infrastructure is up and reliable (ONT is green), it's just the Zen portion of the connection which is unreliable. The connection drops out at the most inconvenient time. Highly not recommended, you're better off going with a big telecoms provider these days, unfortunately supporting an independent ISP is at my detriment.

DO NOT contract their services.

Living in Edinburgh around EH8-EH10 where the internet should work perfectly. It just doesn’t. They have changed our router and our ONT but keeps not working.

We are emailing them non stop and they don’t provide us with any solution. Worst thing is that we rely on internet to work and they won’t let us cancel the contract because of the minimum term.

We have had 3 engineers home trying to fix it and it still doesn’t work. We just want to get out of their horrible service and customer experience but won’t even let us. If they were providing a service I would understand it, but they are NOT

I have waited six months for a phone line connection. We have been let down repeatedly and Zen have been completely ineffectual. If platitudes got results they'd be a five star company. As it is, it's a fat 0.

Cold callers visited my property at 18:00 on a Friday evening (6th June) - Super cocky/laughing girl with brown hair and a guy.

Why are you harassing people after work on a Friday evening? Completely irritating, please get a real job.

Flawless for 4 years. Now endless problems.

I made the mistake of ‘upgrading’ my 35mbps fttp service which had worked immaculately for 4 years, to 500mbps. Now it constantly disconnects or gives me snail speeds.
The real reason for the 1 star is how much they have wasted my time on tech support. They will go to any length to make out the problem is everything but the connection service itself. They seem helpful at first, offering to send new routers or reset settings etc. But this isn’t a hardware problem because none of the hardware has changed. Their reasoning is so illogical- they even tried to suggest the the BT Openreach box - after working perfectly for 4 years - suddenly went wrong just at the moment I switched to 500mbps. Come off it.

I’ve had enough- going to get released from my contract and never look back.

Like so many reviews, the service started off well but... I have now been without service for 2 weeks due to a service change made by Zen, they blame the fibre provider the fibre provider blames them. Very frustrating, particularly as the only way I can get through to support is via sales, I try support directly and it just keeps cutting off.

Awful ISP-switched from Virgin as I’d read about how great the customer service was. Sadly haven’t received anywhere near the speeds advertised and customer service is none existent-so unhelpful and actually bordering on being arrogant and rude. Avoid.
