Good price and work completed on the day it was booked in. Knocking down one star for the customer service. We found them a bit tricky to communicate with. We were recommended to visit them by our regular mechanic who we have a great working relationship with. When we took our car down for an initial chat/diagnostic, nobody seemed willing to talk to us and it felt like it was an effort for one of them to look at the job,. We were told to take the car for a run to heat it up but then made us feel silly when we did that - claiming there was no need to do that and we should have just stayed where we were and waited ?!? Booking an appointment and drop off was okay. Pick up and after care wasn’t great. Busy, probably overworked receptionist trying to manage our payment while taking phone calls and an untidy /smelly reception area (she must love working in that environment with private DWP letters strewn across the main desk for all to see and evidence of lunch remains including a foul smelling bottle of oyster sauce ). There was a slight issue with our wheel nuts but when we tried to ask a genuine question mechanics became very defensive and condescending. Hopefully our car won’t need another clutch, but if it does, we’d rather pay a bit more to avoid a similar poor customer service experience. It costs nowt to be kind. It costs a lot more to be impolite and disrespectful.

Had out Peugeot 2008 [2018] in for a clutch replacement. Just got it home having only dropped it yesterday morning.
Lauren on the phone was ace and Kris in the garage was brilliant.

The full experience was seamless the team fitted a new clutch and flywheel on my landrover it was like driving a new car and the turn round time was amazing and the cost was more than reasonable cheers guys would definitely recommend 👍🏻

My granddaughter has a Toyota Aygo, very low mileage, but an automatic gearbox (they are actually a semi-auto). The clutch was slipping. I rang around 4 transmission firms and left details of the repair needed by message. Two never got back to me. The third gave a very long repair date and I wasn't sure that they wanted to do the work.

I used this company a couple of years ago for a diff problem on my four by four. They were also recommended by two garages who I trust, but don't do gearboxes.

We were given a date - four working days away. Late yesterday afternoon, they rang - they had a cancellation for today. The proviso was that we needed to deliver the car by 5.00pm yesterday or by 6.00am today. Dropped it off at 4.45pm yesterday and received a phone call this morning at 9.30am - car done.

The time taken is bordering on incredible. That aside - the price was very, very reasonable and the car is now as it should be.

My self and my son, plus our granddaughter are impressed to put it mildly. We trust the company to do only what is necessary, cheaply and properly. Thanks.

When the clutch went on my wife's car I was lucky enough to have this place recommended. Had to wait a week for availability, but that was kind of reassuring. Was given a date and price and the work was done on time and on budget. Excellent customer service from the initial call through to picking up the car and spare keys once the work was complete. 100% recommend this garage; professional, courteous and honest. What more could you hope for?

Our Aygo clutch failed at 07:00 on a Friday morning. Called North West Clutches at 09:10. Got the car to the unit at 09:45 where the guy told me about 2 hours would be needed. Got a call at 12.00. Picked car up at 12:45 good to go. Home by 13:15.
Fantastic service, friendly guys, best price. Turned what could have been over a week's worth of trauma into 4 hours 15 with no trauma at all. Honestly made my my day 🙂
