I was charged £210 on 17 July for a quote on replacing a soakaway. I had already provided reports from another company, but they insisted on visiting the property to assess it themselves. The "assessment" involved nothing more than standing outside and looking at the house - no work was done.
They said a report would follow, but I’ve chased multiple times and still haven’t received anything. Absolutely no justification for the charge, and the lack of communication is unacceptable.
Extremely disappointed. Avoid this company and go elsewhere. -Joanna

DO NOT USE! Needed to get a quote to fix our septic tank. In order for them to quote they said they needed to first do a paid for inspection. Agreed for them to do this so we could progress and get a quote for the work. They said the cost of the inspection would come off the later work. Couple of guys turned up and put a rod down the pipe between the septic tank and soakway to determine if it was a blockage or something requiring more extensive work. After almost getting their rod stuck in the pipe (which they said we would have needed to pay for it it got stuck), they told us that the pipe went off under our drive into another part of the garden where they said the soakway was. They pipe wasnt blocked so the soakaway must have failed and this would be a very expensive job. They then left promising a quote the next day for the further work. It never arrived. Chased up but never a response. Felt like we'd been conned into paying for an inspection that would never result in a quote. Whats more I have recently had another contractor look at the work to fix the soakaway but when they dug a hole they found the pipe goes in completely opposite direction to a different part of the garden than they insisted it did. So they couldn't even get that right!

Drain division were the most professional and responsive of the four companies we approached for quotes, they discovered fundamental issues in their preliminary survey missed by the others.
They installed a complex 2-household septic tank and pump in a quite restricted area with very little disruption to either of the two households functions. Although both lawns were significantly dug up they made a good job of leaving them level and tidy and reseeded.
They were a personable team, polite punctual and efficient, came when they said they would and did the job as planned and on quote.Their office staff were easily contactable and polite and efficient. I give them top marks and would definitely recommend them to a friend.

I would not suggest this to anyone as they just pointing money and never did anything. One of the member promised me to cut the pipe and look in to the tree roots even we dug the ground for them and he just wasted the time by insert the jet wash and made the problem even bigger and finally took money from us.

Great service received by Tommy at Drain Division in Peterborough.
He was professional , friendly and efficient. He explained what the issue was and how he was going to fix it. He surveyed and checked the whole drain with a camera and gladly showed me the end result. I was impressed with the service and the company offer 5% discount for NHS workers which Tommy kindly discounted from the final cost which was quite high ( main reason why I didn't give 5 star rating. .) But all in all a very good service . Thank you

Fleeced. New to the area I chose a larger organisation. But got fleeced. everyone took pains to tell me the costs and in my head I worked this out as almost affordable. The engineers cleared a simple drain block for the kitchen but then left me with a big muddy slurry when attempting to clear a soak away.

The cost to bear of having two engineers, one for turning on pressure washer and the other on hose, both on a clock is simply not fair on the homeowner.
It's like going for a haircut and being charged extra to have use of scissors and hairdryer.
Fleeced. 500 quid lesson. Painful.

Booked them to jet a drain. "We will be there this morning!" They said....1pm and still no sign of them so I thought I'd ring them to be told they'll be there when the get there..... I asked why tell me they'd be there this morning? "We didn't" they said. What's wrong with society atm? Why not just be honest and do what ya say you're going to? It's not hard....

i'm sure they are marvellous at drains.
but they dispose of rubbish from their vans by throwing it at the side of the road. disgraceful. they are why our country looks like such a mess
