Solar Service Solutions fitted our solar panels a couple of months ago and were brilliant. There was a bit of back and forth with timings and scaffolding (we have a slightly complicated house) so the whole thing took longer than it should have but this wasn't their fault and they were very responsive and helpful throughout. Their contractors were all really great and we are very happy with the finished installation.

Solar Service Solutions were able to install our in roof panels within 2 weeks of our order, and with 2 x 6.5 kWh Growatt batteries and an inverter, we are finding that with some sunshine and an Octopus charge between 02.00 and 05.00, the batteries still have around 50% remaining before the next charge. The girls on Customer Service are first class, ensuring that calls are answered quickly. The Technical side of the business is run by John Pearson, Director, and Oliver and any problems dealt with efficiently. A very professional company that I am happy to recommend.

Is this company even still trading? They were great with quotes and getting scaffold up on the 26th feb then ok instillation except they managed to cut through our electrics in the roof while installing. Luckily my husband is a qualified electrician so after 4hrs of tracing managed to find the fault and repair it. At a cost to ourselves no apologies from company. The electrician was great who installed all the batteries etc and had it all done in a day. But here we are with scaffolding still on the front of the house nearly 7 weeks later blocking our path. Up until this week we have constantly called and emailed the company to ask for it to be removed. We have been given two dates it was going to happen but nobody showed and now no reply from company on the phone or via email! We are going to remove the scaffolding ourselves tomorrow as there seems little to no hope of the company doing anything about it. Such a shame to have to put a bad review but I would seriously not pay for install until scaffolding is removed if I were you. We seriously wish we hadn’t.

We had our solar panel installation completed by solar service solutions in November. We honestly couldn't fault them. We filled out the enquiry form and recieved a call to book a free survey and quote, we didn't expect to have this so quickly and our installation was done in 3-weeks. All involved were polite and knowledgeable.
We would recommend this company to everyone.

From first contact the response was quick, the assessment of my premises and suitability was done before going through the quotation process. As I have a couple of pipes coming out of my roof in awkward places this was essential.
The whole process was explained and the quote was very detailed.
The technical survey was very thorough.
The installation was carried out without any issues and in a single day - I had 8 panels, inverter and battery installed.
Everyone involved was very knowledgeable, friendly and polite and answered my myriad of questions with patience 🙂
Communication was good throughout and the installers went through everything with me when they had finished.
I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know that's looking to move to solar energy.

Beware of this company!!!!
My partner book this company to service and fix our solar system. They charged him nearly £200 just for booking an appoitment. They sent an engineer who doesn't have a clue about our system. After a phone call they said, that they don't have a proper person and promised to refund a money at the same day. After an over a week, several phone calls and emails to them, money hasn't been refunded yet!!! They ignore my partner at all.
