Helmanis and Howell installed a combi boiler in my home 17 years ago. They also changed radiators. I was very impressed then with the experience from start to finish.
Earlier this year(2025) the boiler started having a few problems and so I decided that it would be better to replace it. I got a few quotes but is was Helmanis and Howell who actually brought along details of 3 possible boilers. The man told me that I wouldn't need the most expensive for my home and not many companies would do that! They actually gave the best advice and their quote was excellent. I decided on one of the models because of the excellent work done previously. They were able to install it very quickly, for which I was most grateful. The boiler was installed in a day and it included a power flush, new flue etc. No fuss, no mess from a very pleasant and knowledgeable engineer.
I was given "instructions " on how to use it too.
From start to finish the experience was very good. Communication was excellent.
I have told a number of people about this company and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
They provide a very reliable, trustworthy and caring service which, in this day and age, is very difficult to find. A good,old fashioned family firm with all the modern ideas.
I recommend them 100%.

Helmanis & Howell are the complete package.
From the initial showroom visit, through design, estimation, installation and aftercare you are in the expert hands of David and his team.
Nothing is rushed, nothing is forgotten, your ideas are delivered in the finest detail.
My kitchen is the third H&H installation. Previously I have a wet room created and a downstairs loo completely refurbished. I have been totally satisfied every time and would wholeheartedly recommend the firm to you.

We have used Helmanis & Howell a number of times both to service a boiler and to install a new one. I can’t recommend them highly enough enough. The staff are superb - knowledgeable, polite, clean & tidy, and above all they know what they’re doing with boilers. I would not use anyone else if I needed anything doing regarding a boiler. They do showers and bathrooms too.

I have used this company on numerous occasions to carry out work in my home.
From having a boiler fitted to a complete renovation of my front bedroom and the whole house getting new radiators in every room. I highly recommend this professional company. The work is completed to a high standard and the follow up inspections are thorough.

Excellent service from the receptionist through to the installation engineers who made a special effort to get my boiler fitted within a week.Worked steadily from 9am to 4pm then explained clearly how the boiler and controls work. Left my flat spotlessly clean as well, highly recommended company.

What a relief. Plumbers / heating engineers who know their stuff. Granted more expensive than others asked to do the job but the others either failed to turn up (3 week lead in time) imagine the frustration or could not get the bits. Helmanis & Howell delivered everything on time and at the price agreed. Disposed of old radiators pipe work etc made good walls and even vacuumed up. Brilliant firm.
Just had same firm back to install boiler. Absolutely first class service, so pleased we asked them to do work.
