My 15 year old laptop finally died last week. I was ready to get a new one when I found Computer Solutions on Google. Oh my goodness..... I now have a fully functioning laptop which is fast and easy to use. I am absolutely delighted.
John and Paul were knowledgeable, efficient and extremely trustworthy. They saved me a great deal of money and it only took 3-5 days to repair my old laptop. I know there are a few more years in it now.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS – ABSOLUTE DISGRACE OF A COMPANY.

Took my laptop in for a simple physical clean—just dust removal, vents cleared, nothing complicated. Yet somehow, they managed to turn it into a complete farce.

First red flag: they asked for my password "to test it" for a basic cleaning job. Why? No explanation.

Then, I was charged £54 upfront, dropped it off, and got a call a few hours later saying it was ready. When I picked it up, they claimed to have reapplied thermal paste (which I never asked for) and hit me with an extra £18 charge, bringing the total to £72.

For that price, you’d expect at least a proper clean—screen wiped, keyboard sanitized, some level of care. Instead, they did nothing beyond the internal dusting. I called to complain, and they told me to bring it back.

When I got to the shop, I had to raise my voice because the guy was hiding in the back. Instead of listening, he shushed me and then, with absolute arrogance, told me, "Not round here it doesn’t," when I pointed out a physical clean should mean cleaning the whole laptop. He then had the audacity to say I could leave it with them until Monday (this was Friday) for a job that would take minutes.

When I refused, he threw me out of the shop. Absolutely disgusting customer service—zero pride in their work, zero respect for customers. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

I had a problem with my iMac's hard drive. I contacted the shop, left a message and John called me back quickly. I arranged to drop the iMac off at the shop and John took the time to explain the problem and then confirmed the problem by using an external hard drive to boot up the machine. I should add I dropped it off Friday afternoon and John rang me Tuesday afternoon to say it was all fixed and ready for collection. iMac is working great.
