DO NOT USE
Shambles of a family business.
Told a chainsaw repair would be 5-6 weeks, called them 3 times for updates and still hadn’t been done. I asked to go and collect the chainsaw as I was going to take it somewhere more professional but they wouldn’t give my chainsaw back. They are so bad it’s actually quite funny. I’ve given 1 star for the comedy aspect of these two.

Where to start? I approached BGS with a generator that wasn't working, and I needed it immediately for a charity event. I explained this to a gentleman named John. He dropped everything, collected my generator, and, with his obvious expertise, thoroughly checked it over and returned it in perfect working condition.

What was even more amazing was his generosity and kindness. Knowing it was for a local charity, he refused to take any payment. Because of John's kindness, the charity managed to raise over £1500, which wouldn't have been possible without BGS's support. I was truly taken aback by the exceptional service and the genuine support he provided. John’s selflessness and dedication to the community are truly commendable.

It’s heartwarming to see such community-minded businesses in Bridgend. Let's make sure that we all support local family businesses like this in our community. They've truly restored my faith in good people.

Absolute terrible service. I did wonder why we were asked for a £30 deposit when we dropped our lawn mower off, but after 7 weeks when we called to ask when the mower would be ready the response was so rude “we’ll get to it when we get to it” told us to stop calling even though that was only the second time. We wanted to collect it and take it to a professional company but was told we’d lose the deposit. Nine weeks and only today we’ve managed to get it back. Mid summer. Never ever would I go here again

Bought a Stiga electric mower from here. Disabilities mean I'm now struggling with a petrol mower and strimmer.
Gents working there were very knowledgeable.
Mower delivered to Swansea and everything was fully explained and demonstrated.
Would recommend them to friends and family.
That's the highest praise I can give them.
