AVOID AT ALL COST
Just in case you are not advised (as with my mother) and as it is not on the paperwork… deposits are non refundable even if you have a change of heart within A DAY OR TWO. Be careful because the “owner and director” is very unhelpful if you question it and you certainly won’t get a word in edgeways. Also no complaint procedure so his way or no way. GO ELSEWHERE

I called a few days in advance to describe the issue I had with my mobility scooter. The lady advised the engineer would be at the premises at 0830 on Saturday morning and there would be a charge of £35 for a diagnosis.
I attended at 0815 saturday morning and waited until 0850 with the shop still closed stating it opened at 1000. I called and left a message. I had a phone call at 1000 stating they were now open and the engineer would be there at 1030.
I dropped the scooter down and explained the issue again - a whirring noise after not being moved in the living room for 6 months. I was told I'd receive a call before 1pm as they shut then. I didn't receive a call and hadn't gone too far so went back at 1230. I was told on my way in by the girl it looked like water damage and would likely cost alot of money to repair (it had been in the dry for 6 months and had no noise prior to sitting there that long), she then took payment of £35. I was then told by the owner it had quietened down slightly and would need a new motor with brake which is not likely available any more and would be expensive (the machine was not quieter).
I spoke to the engineer who advised that if I was to strip the brake on top of the motor down and spray wd40 on it, it would likely cure the noise (on top of the motor there is a sticker saying no oil - as it is a brake)  The owner said he would get a price on a new motor - the motor was not removed and tested, for £35 the wheels were spun and a little wd40 sprayed on 2 of the screw heads yet nothing was taken apart.
When returning home I took the motor off and run it with the power proving there was no whirring noise. I located the fault and rectified the issue.
I rung up to make them aware the fault had been mis diagnosed, the owner told me that the engineer has 20 years experience and wouldn't get it wrong. I told him what the issue was and now that it has been rectified and wanted to make him aware I paid £35 for a mis diagnosis so should be refunded. He hung the phone up on me.
Disgusting service and took my money for not having any idea what the issue was.
I would not recommend going here, if they had of actually diagnosed the fault and gave me the correct diagnosis I would have been over the moon even though I was messed around with the wrong time to attend.
Save your money and precious time by not going here.

Whilst there the owner told me I had the wrong battery pack on the scooter - which I had purchased from them around 9 months before!!

Epic, friendly staff. I got talked through the details of the mobility scooter I'd come to see and ended up buying one. They've got some real bargains here. Disabled access is on the side of the building furthest away from the main entrance to the business park (so that's the second turning on the right once in the main gate). Very knowledgeable and well worth a visit if you need mobility aids.

I have have been going back fore to bridgend mobility centre for 5 years Christian his a really great gentleman very friendly and professional and polite as the staff are prices are real fair and if he can help you he will go out of his way to do so he will even come and pick your scooter or wheelchair up and bring it back to you I was with one othe just up the road from him personally he is a complete waste of fresh air as far as I AM CONCERNED YOU WILL NOT GO FRA ROUGH WITH BRIDGEND MOBILITY CENTRE
