Best indoor kart track I've been to. Fabulously fun electric karts with boost and reverse buttons. Fast and efficient race prep and service, superb multi level track. Safe, clean and enjoyable karting.

Had a brilliant experience doing a Grand Prix for a Stag Do today. All staff were great, event run smoothly with just the right amount of time between sessions. Electric Karts with boost buttons were phenomenal and made such a difference to level racers of different weights compared to petrol karts. Absolutely no doubt that I’ll be back. 6 stars

Don’t recommend- little kids on smashing into people, staff not interested just told me to email as I wanted part refund… payed for 4 laps done 2, asked for refund again as they also acknowledged that we were not getting proper full laps. Black flags put up but people not removed or wrong people removed from track. Pretty much paid £80 for the dodgems … go to the shows it’s cheaper and probs safer.

Went and did the x4 10-minute sessions, and decided it was great value for money. Staff are very friendly, and made the change-overs between groups quick and easy. Went with my younger sibling; they give under-16s neck braces which I thought was very good, provide seat inserts for smaller folks, and I’d say safety-wise the electric karts are much safer than petrol ones: if there’s a problem on the track the supervisors can make everyone gently slow down for a few seconds. The experience was loads of fun, and there’s food and drink available while you wait between sessions. The jumpsuits seem to be washed, the helmets are in good nick, and get to keep the gloves and balaclava. The only criticisms I have is that the karts don’t have seatbelts (but even then I’d say it’s still rather safe) and that 18 people on the track at once feels like a bit much. 10/10 would go again!

Disappointed with the Experience – Poor Staff Attitude, Excessive Interference, and Unfair Treatment

I booked this event for my birthday for a group of five. One person had to cancel last minute due to a family emergency, and while I accept the 6-hour notice policy and didn’t expect a refund, what followed during the event was far more disappointing.

From the outset, the customer service was poor. Out of seven staff (three at reception and four on the track), only one person at reception was helpful. The rest were disengaged, inattentive, and at times even sarcastic. My kart felt heavily restricted during the first session — despite pressing full throttle, it lacked power while others raced past. I signalled staff several times but was ignored or dismissed. After the session, I raised the issue with a track marshal who gave a sarcastic response, while a more polite staff member at reception acknowledged the problem and promised improvement — but nothing changed.

What made matters worse was the excessive interference from staff. Our karts were remotely restricted multiple times, effectively handicapping us. Meanwhile, a separate group of adults (about 5–6, male and female) were driving aggressively, colliding with others, shouting across the track, and making abusive and derogatory remarks. Yet they were left unchecked. We, on the other hand, were constantly pulled aside and reprimanded, without valid reason. When I questioned this, the staff simply said “I only saw you,” which didn’t feel like a fair or professional response.

To be transparent, this led me to question whether I was being treated differently due to my appearance — either my skin colour or height. I’ve lived in Edinburgh for years and have never felt this way at any other venue, but this experience left me unsettled. Whether intentional or not, it felt like I was being unfairly singled out, and it cast a dark cloud over what should have been a celebration.

For comparison, I visited Xtreme Karting Falkirk recently — the difference was like night and day. The staff there were professional, the petrol karts were outstanding, and everyone was treated fairly. Unfortunately, the Edinburgh site did not live up to the same standard.

This birthday experience felt frustrating, one-sided, and frankly, disheartening. I won’t be returning to the Edinburgh venue and would not recommend it for smaller group bookings or special occasions.

An awesome indoor gokart track. The staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect for competitive racing and also for some family fun. Highly recommended! 👍
Update: the track has been significantly improved recently. It is no longer the usual flat circuit, but instead it's multilevel. Simply awesome. And also swapped the old petrol karts for electric ones. I was a bit sceptical to be honest, but have to say, it is a game changer. Less vibrations means it's way less tiring compared to ICE karts. Plus no more exhaust fumes. 🙂
